May I give you some advice? Men have VERY short and truly simple memories when it comes to jewelry.

You want to know how short? I had my diamond reset about 10 years ago; about 3 years ago, DH said, "when did you do that?" Me: "Ummm, 7 years ago."

THEN, I swear to G-d, 6 MONTHS later, he asked me, "When did you get that?"

Thank goodness he also never even notices purses at all.
