I like it overall and I'm really excited about the boots, laces mean they will fit a variety of legs!

I always love to look at the outerwear and I think the print work is really interesting, I'm also excited to see bold colors for Fall that feel Fall if you know what I mean. Often H seasons feel reversed to me.

I'm not sure how much I'll actually be looking to buy but I really like ease of the pieces because I could see them being very wearable and comfortable whereas when I view the Chanel show I feel like I would be playing dress up for the most part.

LOL! Would any of the blouses or jackets work for you, QuelleFromage? I agree, the full-length coats and thigh-high boots are hard to pull off unless one is very tall. (If anybody feels like buying me somethin', I'm sorta tallish. :p) Or might Hermes do slightly different cuts for markets where the majority of consumers are more petite? That would be sensible, like making boots for different calf sizes. I know that often the extremity of the cuts shown on the runway, like micro-mini skirts, is toned down for general production.

I have found so far that H doesn't cut small enough for me in any direction! The exception will possibly be with the cropped jackets which i am really liking this year, unfortunately those will be stratospherically priced :p
Does anyone in Asian markets find that the RTW is cut much smaller? Maybe that would work for me (I've tried with other designers, though, and not found a big difference). Like I need another thing to buy at Hermès.....

Most of their size 34 are big on me too so i usually just get them altered =) Their coats are fine though even though i have quite narrow shoulders. Either that or i have been conditioned to the oversized look after years of buying Celine clothing >.<

Does anyone know when will this collection be available in stores? I'm excited about some of the pieces and should start keeping aside budget for it hehe

Totally agree. I usually wear 46 on any other brand, but for Hermes I have to wear 44 or MTM. I don't think Asia has different measurements for same sizes, they just get higher stock of size 46 and 44.

I would absolutely wear most of the skirts and jumpers (I'm sure there is a more high fashion, less pre-school name for a skirt attached to a top with wide straps but that's what I've got in my vocab so I'm running with it). The leather in particular looks great & I like that particular mix of preppy/conservative & just slightly edgy.

The cut of the pants seems hard to pull off to me. Maybe I've just been surrounded by people in skinny jeans for too long, but the wide leg hitting just above the ankle look is tough for some of those models wear flatteringly so I can only assume I'd look like I was wearing something I stole from my grandpa's closet. (Assuming my grandpa had impeccable taste, naturally.)

Every jacket is a hit for me, sans 1 that looks a lot like a toilet seat cover....otherwise, just wow. The current SS17 coats/jackets and Pre Fall collections are fairly large as well - like oversized/boyfriend style. I am petite and couldn't 'wear' some of the 3/4 coats, they made me look like a marshmallow.

I don't think can wear anything from this collection and I have been trying on quite a few pieces since this new designer came on board. Being petite means oversized is tough to pull off. However I must say I have bought some off runway pieces each season. You would never know it was Hermes.

I like the leather jackets & coats.
For me even though it is what I refer to as investment clothing, these pieces are so timeless & classic that are they
are forever at least in my wardrobe.
With a beautiful H shawl H leathers really look spectacular & distinctive.
There always seems to be a piece or two that stands out not always from the runway shows.
That's the attraction for me.

I love the sea green colors and the way they're mixed with other also subtle blue-greens. I still have my sea green clothes from a decade ago when it was in fashion then. (They're a bit smaller but I am getting close to fitting in them). Other clothing mfrs will probably pick up on the sea green and then I'll be in green heaven!

I also love the unexpected color combos. I don't recall seeing that in practically every H runway outfit before. Who is designing their collections? She's doing a good job. (St. Laurent was a great colorist, too. It's a gift). I love the orchid H ensemble with the peachy-tan belt. Thanks for posting these!

Personally, I like this collection although structurally it looks like it is best suited to a tall body type.
Although I do love the coats and all of the leather pieces.

I love the tops! Most will not work with the climate I live in, but they are gorgeous! I'm too scared to know the prices, so my wallet will be safe ;)

Same sizes/cut for asian markets. I don't think they make separate sizing for different countries.
