I only got the orange last week, so dk yet. But I have some bright colors in H leather and I don’t find they discolor or show dirt at all. I’m a little anxious about the b/w NF I just got yesterday - it’s been years since I had white leather, but it’s so gorgeous I’m going to give it a try!
Congrats on your orange Cles! I was eyeing the orange cles or Po, will be great to hear how it goes over time  they are beautiful pieces!

So many enablers here! I’m not concern about wearing men’s bag at all to be honest.
I just find myself extreme - that I love the sunrise pastel colours from the SS22, but I’m too afraid of staining it that I’ve gone to the other end of wanting an all black bag so there’s no way I gonna make the bag dirty.
I didn’t realise the OP was actually also getting the city keepall too. I’m just thinking about some points:
1) would the no handles be weird for the city? (Because I’m used to speedy, but I definitely have other bags without handles too)
2) if I get this all black city keepall, I won’t be getting anymore item from SS22, (just look at the price tag!) and I’m afraid I may lust for the sweet SS22 colours and bags that’s about to be launch. (So far, I talked myself out of the sunrise pastel ranges because of the light color and also I don’t really love any of the bag designs launching in the print)
3) seems like good reviews on aerogram material even though it’s not that common.
4) I really liked the fact that city keepall zips further down the side, hence bigger opening! I was about to launch a new obsession with getting speedy 30 because the opening is bigger but the excessive amount of space for the items I gonna put will make the bag droop too much. This would be bigger opening but minus the droop?

so to sum it up, the possible cons are
1) all black hardware may get scratches and reveal the true material colour? But isn’t it possible to “paint” it black again with a sharpie?
2) slightly less versatile than a speedy without the top handles.

The pros are
1) good leather material
2) wide zippers
3) very adjustable straps
4) space can hold plenty of stuff without playing Tetris
5) easy to match with anything
6) won’t get stained

Wow! I’m so biased....

Just to check…. Those bubbles on the logo, it’s just the bubbles in between the protective film and metal hardware right?

I shall not remove it to protect it from scratches!!
It’s a lovely black beauty! And it keeps the shape very well without anything in it, unlike speedy. I did a quick inspection, everything looks good at first glance.

On a first view, I was slightly alarmed that the strap is rather heavy. It’s heavily than the MPA strap because it has more hardware parts. The strap is also the Coussin type rather than MPA. But on the whole, when I fix it on the bag and carry (empty), it’s still pretty light. I haven’t tried it on properly because I need to keep it a secret from my husband that I bought another bag again in such a short span of time. Also the zipper makes a bit of “zipping” noise when moving. So trying it out will have to wait.

This is a celebratory gift for myself for getting a promotion recently! I’ll stop buying bags for the year now. Really! I bought enough bags in this last year (from June 21 till now) for the 5 years drought I stopped buying from LV!!

I love the clean inconspicuous look. If I took out the tag and face the logo towards me, nobody can tell what bag this is right? Totally like a ninja.

Lol you sound EXACTLY like me when I was considering an Aerogram bag recently!! I had the same thought, Logo ninja!  Congratulations on your bag and promotion! Yes, that's the air bubbles, I've seen a few Aerograms and they all had bubbles from the film. Have never seen any with the film off. Haha yeah I would wear it in reverse, too! With the logo hidden if I wanted! Total ninja!

Enjoy, it's a beautiful bag!

What a gorgeous bag! I love it. Congratulations on your promotion and on your treat to yourself. You did quite the thorough job on consciously figuring out all the pros and cons, you were radically honest with yourself, and you bought the one that ticked your most important boxes. Good for you! Yes, those bubble are from plastic. I did remove the plastic from my aerogram key pouches because the logo looks so much better, but with a bag I might be tempted to leave it on for a bit. My black aerogram pouch hardware has been in constant use, no scratches yet. And you mentioned sharpie if it does get scratched - I’ve done that before on small spots in non LV bags and it works well. And depending on what other straps you have, perhaps you could find a light one. I bought some ”guitar” type straps for a few bags and they are very lightweight.

Overall, it’s fabulous! Congrats! I hope you wear and enjoy in good health!

I just thinking out loud as I type and realised, I seem to love it very much…..

Thank you!

I just realised the aerogram series is quite a recent line designed by the late Virgil Abloh after trying to search for more information of how is the wear and tear. I feel thankful for making the swift decision of getting my ninja black city keepall as now I own a little bit of history. I saw the daybreak collection has a blue stripy city keepall. It looks beautiful too! They don’t seem to come in a standard kind of straps for city keepall do they? The eclipse version has a small d ring for hanging a rcp like the MPA, the brown mono stripes is similar to aerogram, the previous watercolor series has leather strap and holes.
I’m really glad I got the city as it’s bigger than XS. I wouldn’t be able to fit my things in it as the city barely fits my work stuff.

Interesting thread!
It is definitely okay for ladies these day to wear bags from mens collection. I feel these men collection is getting more interesting than ladies at times. I have keepall xs and handle trunks from men collection. I like these very much and best is my hubby can use them if he wants or he can carry for me though i usually will not ask him to carry my bag outside except shopping loot

Hi PC, I would like to know more about the city keepall from you!! Like, what are the good features of the bag, any cons, is the zipper smooth? I have 2 speedies and I wonder if I can get used to the no handle bit, but I carry the speedy crossbody 90% of the time, so the handle would sometimes be “irritating”. How is the weight like for the city keepall? I’m going for the all black city keepall if I’m considering this. Is the hardware for the black piece metal or plastic, can’t tell much from the picture.
I haven’t read much about aerogram leather here. Wonder how it is like (maintenance, durability, etc). Anyone else with information about aerogram leather or how the city keepall works for you would be greatly appreciated! Just when everyone is going Gaga over the beautiful SS colours, I’m diving into a deep dark black...

I'm a little late to your questions, but based on your subsequent posts, it looks like you've figured out all the answers, @Jumper. Congratulations on your new beauty!

I can't speak to the aerogram, but glad others have addressed it.

For pros and cons, I love how light my bag is. i thought I would miss handles, but I don't, actually! I hardly hand-carry bags anyway, so it's mostly cross-body or should carry for me. Personally, I think the trade-off of not having handles but having the zipper go over the side is worthwhile. I like big handbags so I don't own small Speedy bags (small to me being defined as a Speedy 25 and smaller), but if I did, I think the small zippered opening would likely drive me crazy.

I had some slight hesitations at first because there isn’t much info here but I think it’s also because it’s a simple clean design that don’t have much issues - leather is thick and keeps its shape well, not too heavy on the shoulders. Lesser parts to have problems with QC (no pipings or many leather trims). Overall maybe men’s QC of the bags have better quality.
So no design problem, lesser QC areas, happy users, so that’s the reason for the lack of info.

I got the Avenue Sling in Damier Graphite bc I wanted a sling bag vs back pack and this is the only print it was offered in...I love it!! My go to bag for any of my kids sporting events or whenever I need a back pack style bag..I like that the print is a little different..
I've been considering this bag for exactly this purpose!

I love LV men’s bags - I wish they would quit separating which bags are men’s vs women’s. In this day and age, any of us can carry anything we want! My LV collection is split half-and-half between men‘s and women’s. I have two aerogram bags, absolutely adore the leather, the magnets that close the bag,are very strong and they are great cross body - one is a sling bag and one is a carry wallet that also fits my phone. I also have three canvas bags from them, I wear them Crossbody, and as a tall woman, the extra strap length really helps I like monogram eclipse, and I really like the functionality and the quality of the men’s bags I love the sling bag Crossbody.

I would say anyone that is, considering it don’t hesitate.! I also bought two small bags from Pharrell’s first collection and adore them too. I have never had to return a men’s LV bag for quality issues. Hope this helps. I’m glad you all are enjoying them. I sure am.!

PS. I have switched almost entirely to pocket organizers and card coin holders from the men’s line for my wallet they fit in any bag I have, and they come in great colors

I personally love the men's collection more 😁 they have so many color selection Im always torn which I like more

I find the design is more what I like to use for day to day ..like I love the straps for crossbody option and you can always mix match to dress it up or down

It would be lovely to see more ladies carrying men section design ❤️
