Women carrying men’s bag

Hi all,
Is it weird? I really love this bag! I’m not a huge brown lover ie traditional mono canvas. I have all LV leather bags at the moment. Thoughts?

If you love it, get it! I don't think it matters if it's part of the men's collection.

Definitely agree with the above post. If you love it and it suits your lifestyle then go for it. As long as your comfortable wearing it, then that’s all that matters. I know lots of men on here use woman’s bags and vice versa! And I have seen woman in this forum buying this bag as well! Enjoy and make yourself happy!

I wear men's bags. It fits my needs. I don't have to baby it as much like the women's line. Definitely go for it.

I say go for it! I wish the big houses would quit doing such hard gender demarcations in how they present and market bags, slg’s and even clothes. So far I have 4 “men’s” bags from LV and they totally suit me and look great. I think some of the men‘s line are actually nicer looking, especially if you like mono eclipse, mono eclipse reverse, damier eclipse etc. No boundaries! I think this is a great bag and if it had handles I would have purchased. Show us when yours arrives!!

Not at all. I think anyone should buy whatever they like. A sales associate — actually, a manager — at LV once told me that the zippy compact was a “woman’s wallet”, when I asked to see it. Interesting approach to sales. It could be “a woman’s wallet” if she has bought it, but it’s about to be my wallet. How about you just get me it and ring it up for me?! I agree with DrTr that they should just stop labelling things. People surely don’t need to be told what is and what is not suitable for them.

It is a man bag, but I like it a lot, was too lucky to get it.

Coach has started including both men and women in a lot of the product photography for bags under the "women's" section. I think in the near future handbag gendering will start to be a lot less important in marketing.

OP, I am a lover of that print as well. I say go for it!

This makes me think of the women who buy the "men's" version of the Dior Saddle bag because it resonates more with them. Why can't it just be a different version of the Saddle, as opposed to gendered?!

I like city keepall as well, thinking about adding one, men's collection doesn't have vachetta which is a big deal lol

I have 3 Keepall XS's and other items too...technically all from the men's line...but who cares
I am now considering getting the Cabas Zipped GM from the men's line, great for travelling!

Love this bag. I wear men’s bags bc I usually prefer the styles. a plus is that they tend to be a bit cheaper too

Most of the men's collection this year was FIREEE!! Watercolor (I missed out ), Mirror, SS21/FW21 with the Coffee Cup, Newspaper, etc., Sunset collection. I love eccentric things
