They only had a black one in stock :sad: And it was damaged, there was a link missing in the chain. But, it was the large size and I tried it on. It was nice, but the black in the reissue didn't do anything for me. But, I fell in love with a goregous black caviar leather tote bag, I tried that on and was :love: I almost bought it, but then I thought about calling Saks here in Orlando. I called, and the SA told me she'd call back, I haven't heard from her yet. I called the one in Boca, and they have a large grey one! The SA there was also with a customer, so she said she would call me right back.

So, now I'm not sure what to do! I can order the grey reissue and see what it's like in person. If I don't like it, I can always return it at the Saks here. I'm also debating going back and getting the caviar tote instead. It was BEAUTIFUL!

Now I'm torn between two bags. I hate that :suspiciou Help! I need bag advice :nuts:

Hmmm....I think the gray is more unique, and especially from the pics I've seen (from Star and others) . You can always, in the future, get the black caviar, right? But anyway, I also think that the gray might fit more into your personality (you have such fun bags)! Like you said, you can always get the gray and return it if you hate it. Let us know what you decide....

Oh I really hope they have one at the Saks ! I would definitely order the grey reissue if there's one floating around anywhere. The tote's not going anywhere, so I would think about it first, since it would be a big buy !

That is one tough decision- both bags are absolutely beautiful, and classic! I say order the grey reissue because you have wanted that bag for awhile, and see if you still love it once you have it in person. And like you said, you can always return it and then get the caviar tote as Plan B!

You can't go wrong either way Cristina! Keep us posted (and post some pics when make your choice) Good luck!

I just rarely ever return stuff, so I always think "that's it!" when I buy something. But I know if I thought the caviar tote would be better, I could return the reissue and get that, instead. I'm looking for a photo of the tote so you guys can see what it looks like. I just called the SA at Saks back. She's holding it for me, I'm going after work!

Well the reissue is more unique; I personally love the look of the Caviar though; but, in the end it is up to you. The caviar bags go on sale throughout the seasons the reissue bags will not.

You can probably pick up a caviar bag at a discount down the road. :D

I'm going to go tonight and look at the reissue. If it doesn't really do anything for me, I will most likely go tomorrow and purchase the black caviar tote. It comes with silver and gold hardware - I wanted the gold, but it wasn't available, so the SA said she would have to order it for me.

I have the feeling that I might be posting some photos tonight, if all goes well :nuts: The black one was super-classy, but it just wasn't me. I like gold, but it was too much! They had caviar classic flap bags, but they were for someone older, I think I'm still too young for one of those :p

Yes - I'm excited too for you! I have the black anniversary bag and I love it. I've seen that caviar tote! It's gorgeous - but, you can find that much easier then the reissue. Good luck! Hope you get it!
