Ugh. I cannot imagine what it must be like to have your school chosen for you in childhood. What a bizarre experience they must have.

Yes, I knew that and I thought the one drawback of Eton was that Charlotte couldn’t go - but if George wasn’t boarding and coming home every day then it wouldn’t matter. Obviously Kate had a great experience of Marlborough and maybe that’s why they want to go that route. It’s where Catherine went to school. It is co-ed unlike Eton. So, perhaps they would like Charlotte to go there as well when the time comes, keeping the family unit as together as possible.
Don’t most people have their school chosen by parents though, subject to school acceptance?Ugh. I cannot imagine what it must be like to have your school chosen for you in childhood. What a bizarre experience they must have.

I doubt that they will declare that they're going to send all three children there. I would expect that they've chosen this school with a view to sending all children there, but that's subject to change depending on the child's development eg. Should Louis turn out to be a piano prodigy or particularly academic, my guess is that they won't send him to Marlborough - but it's probably the default until another school becomes more appropriate. Just my thoughts! At least where I come from, the person is given the opportunity to develop and then, as they are going into high school, the best school for them is chosen. Trade based, arts based, French, gifted, private, IB or just the local feeder etc.
Who is to know if this will be the best option for all three? And when you declare it so young, it will be near impossible to change without scrutiny. I suppose there are other concerns, including security to factor in.
No, apparently it's a gold plated necklace, currently on sale for £11.
