Will the monogram LV bags switch to silver hardware too?

I think gold looks better on the Mono, and that it would be a tactical error if LV switched to silver as this line has an unbroken consistency that stretches all the way back and that is one of its charms. I actually think the "old" gold ones would become more valuable over time -- think of all the Japanese customers who don't want to look like they just got their LV yesterday. The more I think about it the less likely I think it is to happen for the Mono line.

I double checked with Eluxury a few minutes ago, the person I spoke with says at this time they are not aware of any plans to make the mono hardware silver. Hopefully that's correct and not what my SA said. My fingers are crossed that they won't change their mind later.

I think the monogram should remain gold. It looks more classy with the monograms.

i don't think they'll switch over to gold with the mono line. its classic, and gold compliments brown so much better than silver. that's basic color thoery. =)

I totally agree -- those warm colors would just look wrong with silver hardware.

I Like The Silver On The Epi (Though, I'm So Use To The Gold On Mine).

As For Mono, I Like The Way The Gold Accents....Silver Would Look Off

i agree -- i love the silver on the epi, and i'm thrilled they've introduced it. but mono and damier wouldn't look good at all with silver -- the gold just goes better.

Certain lines would look great with the silver but the Mono needs to just stick with gold for sure.
