Will the 19 and the 22 go the way of the Boy bag and Gabrielle?

19 will go in the way of the boy bag. It's still cute but not as relevant as before. Some ppl will claim that it's out of style, but the shape is very timeless. The 22 will go in the way of the Gabrielle. Imo it's not as pretty as the Gabby and even the Gabby is being phased out.
I agree. I bought quite many "it" bags over the past 20 years, and sold most of them. However, I just cannot part with some of them, including my small gabby. She is super cute ❤️ and often my answer when I do not want to carry the classic.
Another one that has gone “astray” is the filigree vanity case.
I wonder if the current mini vanity case will head that direction too in years to come.
But among the IT bags, I do think the small gabby still holds some appeal.

Probably but IDC. I'll continue to use all of mine just like I still use my Boys.
I feel like the 19 is a bit more classic in its appeal than the 22. But I also was a huge fan of the Boy Bag and now when I see it, I am not nearly as sold on it as I once was.
Fashion repeats itself. I like to say I had this item when it first came out. Sometimes an updated version can be a hit or a miss. I usually don't follow fashion trends what's in or out.
People have been asking this for 5 years since the 19 got here. I think the reasoning behind the 19 will make it a mainstay. It will be here like the reissue and the boy (which are better comparisons) but not as in demand.

I'm happy to hear that after 5 years you still enjoy the 19. I am trying to pick between the m & l!
Try both in store if you can! Take your stuff with you and put it in the bags. Sometimes the sa will let you try with your stuff in the display bags.
I only have mediums(3). This size is perfect what I currently carry. You should check the 19 clubhouse thread out if you haven’t already!
I still like the Boy and recently got a 19 (even though I wasn’t sold on it initially). I do hope these two styles stick around. Personally find the 19 more easy than the Boy although that could be because my Boy is small. I sometimes find the full flap of the Boy a hassle (restricts the opening of the bag). Personally don’t really care for the 22 but who knows - I was that way with the 19 previously and it grew on me!
