Will my Tiffany e-ring be big enough?

My fiance and I recently got engaged. We did end up getting a Tiffany's not entirely because of the blue box or that its better quality than ones we've seen but because he fell in love with it and thought it fit me well. He got me a 0.6 carat Ribbon which I love to death. We got quotes and had custom designers see if they could replicate the design. I wasn't happy with any of them (I'm particular about detail =P). I'm also about 4'11"/5' with smaller hands. For daily wear I think my ring is big enough... then again I HATE how big diamonds look on my hands (at least for a ring that I will wear everyday). No one around me really knows its a Tiffany ring except my fiance and I.. and I am ok with that. The most important thing about the ring is that he thought of me when he bought it. He thought about what I like, worried about if I would like it, and worked hard to get something that would reflect how much he thought of me at that moment. So if you're sure that Tiffany's is something that would reflect how much you've thought about what she likes then I say go for it! FYI, if someone tried to put me down because of how small my ring is.. I would defend my ring to the death! GrRrrr!

Note: We shopped together... only because he slipped up and I found out =P. But we've been dating for about 5 years now so we both knew we would get married someday.

i gather from your posts you're confident about your lucky girlfriend saying 'yes' to your proposal, but just a little unsure of the ring.

i would've said just go with the princess cut tiffany ring until you mentioned that her mother gave her one that's even larger- is that one also princess cut? because if it's the same, i'd just think maybe she would want to get something a little different for her e-ring.

what i thought could be really sweet and romantic is to surprise her one day with a 'breakfast and tiffany's' day, where you go out to eat one morning, then stroll by a tiffany store- you could pop the question right outside, then go in and have her choose a ring.

i'm sure she'll love whatever you give her! but that's just an idea if you really want to be sure she'll like the look of the ring.
