Wild Beast Swagger

Hello Coachies!

I have combed this thread for pics of the wild beast swagger and while there are some, there are not a lot. I have been going back and forth about purchasing this. I have the soft wallet in the Wild Beast print but I know this the print on the swagger is a bit different in that the undertones are more creamy/yellow-ish and are in an ombre effect. Long story short, I just need more pictures that are not stock photos. Any assistance would be soooo appreciated. TIA! BTW, I have been gone for a bit as I reset my spending but rewarding my good habits with a splurge so want to make it count, you know?

Yes! I have combed through the site multiple times, done google searches, checked fashion blogs, you name it. I was just hoping maybe a few more coachies had it or maybe had pics they never posted. Short of PM-ing everyone, I thought I would shout out to all first .

I figured you had. Hopefully you'll find more pics or some people will post pics here for you. It wasn't really on my radar, but I went and looked at pictures...heh...and it's reallllly hot!! If I had one, I'd totally help you out.

Crossing my fingers pictures will attach. I just snapped a few with my cell - I wasn't sure if you wanted color comparison, or more of the bag itself. As you can see, I haven't used mine yet. I purchased when it first came out, before the lifetime exchange policy went into effect. And when the Wild Beast Collection was thought to be limited, and probably wouldn't be repeated. There were documented problems with this bag - meaning JAX emailed the stores that refunds or exchanges could be made. Issues of hardware falling off - and the bigger issue of dye fading - corner wear - also color wear on the edges and body of the bag. I was on the fence about keeping it - I figured it already had a worn distressed look - so whats a few more naturally faded spots? Then summer came.... and it's a VERY heavy bag.... so my fascination with her halted, and she's been sitting in her dust bag. Personally I prefer the darker print (like the current cosmetic bag) - and I think this years leather is nicer - a softer pebble - and hopefully they've remedied the color fade. I don't want to burst your bubble - it's really a fun bag - retail was $750 (I would never pay full price - I think I got it with last years' VIP 30% promo) - but if you love it, and don't mind the weight, I'd buy at a good price.

Posted some pics for you .... sorry they're sideways! I'm too busy buying purses to learn how to flip the pics on the phone before I send. Someday! Hope these help. You've made me want to get it out and use it... it's a good color for CA weather - 100 degrees one day, 60 and raining the next

OMG, thank you! Your review was excellent!! I agree, the soft wallet I have is spectacular - the color, the feel, the look . . . my problem is that I did not love any bags that were in the line so I sort of defaulted to the swagger. I am warming to it; I cannot figure out why I did not jump on this as soon as they came out but then again, I was trying to behave. Your pics are perfection and adding to my lust for it, lol! The weight I can get on board with as I have downsized considerably from what I used to carry. The hardware issue scares me. I have been gone for a while so what is this lifetime return policy? Again, I cannot thank you enough. I OWE YOU!

Thanks so much for pics! You look gorgeous! The print on your bag (Rhder?) is lovely and matches the soft wallet I have. I wish this particular one would have been a little bigger which is why I began lusting over the swagger. It is like if I could get the new print with the gold hardware of your bag and then combine that into a swagger, it may feel like I won the jackpot. Coach, are you listening???

Glad my pics/thoughts helped. And if you're still in lust with it, at the right price, issues aside, I think I'd still buy one. I remember when I got it - the SA's convinced me I'd be "the coolest kid on the block" when I carried it. Most designers do some sort of leopard or ocelot print - but this one is unique.

As for the lifetime exchange/return policy - I meant to say, before it changed. Coach was always lifetime return - as long as you still had the tags on it, and receipt, you could return it 10 years down the road. When the new CEO took over, the policy changed to 60 days. Returns or exchanges have to be done in 60 days. While they were probably too liberal before, I wish they'd extend it a little bit more - even 90 days. Sometimes life just gets in the way, and it's hard to get into a store to return.
I imagine if you've 'got connections' to get one, the policy doesn't make much difference. Oh, as for hardware, apparently it wasn't just the Wild Beast Swagger (other colors had the same problem) with hardware falling off (where the long strap attaches) - so maybe it's hit or miss.
