Great advice in this thread! But Hun, honestly, I could give a hill-o-beans if people know how much I paid for my bag. I'm a hard, honest worker, give to charity and church and just love life I general. I buy bags for my own pleasure, no one elses. That is a hot bag you have there and no way looks like plastic! I have the Vernis Pomme D'amour Alma GM. You cannot be concerned with how many compliments you get or not get---compliment yourself---look in the mirror and say "darn, I'm hot rocking this bag!"LOL! And I've learned that the ones that stare and don't say a word are complimenting you!

The only time someone made a fuss about the bag and the price ("I know how much that cost, I read it in a magazine..." at the top of her voice in a very public place and in front of my mother and a friend). I just kept upbeat, coz once you show these people they can upset you they keep at it. I just said a few "good for you" and "I just love it", "worth every penny", these people have no manners and she was the one who appeared ridiculous.

I have never for the life of me understood why someone would allow the opinions of others stop them from enjoying anything. My family does not nor have they ever understood my desire to own expensive handbags or sunglasses. You know what, I continue to wear these things even when I'm around them. I ignore the comments and keep it moving. If it bothers you that much, find new friends.
Don't let anyone steal your joy.
