I'm waiting for an lv reverse monogram pochette metis. Since I purchased it online, I've read some unfortunate things about the glazing on this bag peeling... so I'm unsure whether I'll keep her or return her for something else (though I bet she's so beautiful I have a hard time returning her for a more sensible lv bag)

Waiting for a vintage LV monceau from vestiaire collective. First I wanted a PM so bad...It's so pretty and modern. But I don't like the partition and the hype. I was afraid that this particular bag would be "not so cool" soon, like no one wants to see a marmont in a year...I didn't know about the glazing...gosh!

I'm waiting for a (new-to-me) Gold-pfeil domed satchel in a bright red. Can't wait.

I became interested in Gold-pfeil because they're made in Germany. Or, I should say, they used to be made in Germany - they've gone out of business. I bought a vintage one in bright yellow and really liked it. Then I was talking to my sister a few weeks later and the subject of handbags came up. (Both of us have only recently become interested in handbags.) Anyway, we started talking about a bag my mother had bought. She had gone through a very financially tough period but in the middle of it, she bought a bag, even though she couldn't really afford it. She was so proud of it. (This was probably 25 years ago or so.) She's passed away now but my sister has the bag so I asked her who had made it. It was Gold-pfeil!! My sister couldn't believe not only had I heard of this (to her) obscure defunct company but could tell her all about its history.

Me  I don't want to jinx anything so don't dare say too much. When you love the bag, it's an exquisite experience:yahoo: When you don't, the disappointment could rival that of a kid missing out on a goody bag at a birthday party
