The 'sample' is after you open the book, the next page has the foldover with the scent inside-just like in magazines....it's not an actual sample that you'd get at a perfume counter. It smells nice-it's a little on the strong side but I think that once the scent dries it would have a nice softer scent. It's always stronger when you first put any perfume on. The bottle is so darn cute!! :)

Ok, I may be the only one who's NOT getting it - waaaay to floral for me! What's a shame is not only do I love the bottle, but dh saw the new catalogue on our kitchen table and said that when he saw Coach perfume, he immediately thought he'd get it for me . . . until he smelled it. So seeing as how neither of us like it, it's a no go for me. Of course, I did tell dh that there would be plenty of other stuff he could get for me instead!

i don't know if anyone mentioned by the perfume is meant to last for a very long time.

the solid wouldn't last as long for those who like to switch scents between day and night

I know these might not sound like a good mix but remember, perfume smells different on everybody..

For a softer smell, I have mixed it with Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly and for a pick-me-upper, I have mixed it with Victoria's Secret Body By Victoria.

I have received compliments with each mix. :yes:

I'm anxious to try it and I know if I like it, I'll buy it. I love perfumes!!! :heart:

I make handmade soaps and other bath and body products. Usually a "type" or duplicate scent will be available at some of the suppliers, so I'm hoping a Coach one will appear soon! I can then make soaps, perfumes, etc.

Sometimes the scent is a dead-on dupe and other times they are most definitely not! My daughter loves D&G Light Blue and I recently ordered the fragrance oil and have made her soap, shampoo and conditioner and lotion and a solid perfume. It's wonderful!!! And so much fun to do. :yes:

I've got lots of experience with perfume in sprays, oils and solids. The solids can be a lot stronger because your body heat can really amp the oils and the fats that hold the perfume notes. It is the perfume sprays that evaporate quicker, even those that are 'heady' due to the alcohol in the spray. I love both products and want to see a pic of the solid.

Are they going to be live in the stores on Monday or will it just be through the phone 1st? I will order mine Monday or Tueday morning with my ROAK stuff.
