Who owns a Foley + Corinna bag?

Thank you for all your quick replies!!! It makes me feel better to know more about their line and quality- it is a disappointment but it sounds like the quality just isn't there- especially in this particular style. So the leather is called 'luxe pebbled" so I get that's its supposed to look distressed but in person, the look and feel comes off as inexpensive synthetic leather! I could probably find a bag at Forever 21 that looks better made. ?

That's a bummer. Sorry to hear your bag is a big disappointment. I hope you find something better. Yes, the lining is cotton. I would rather canvas but to be fair mine seems to be very resistant. My F&C is a workhorse (sp?). It is my to go bag during bad weather too. It looks brand new still. The leather has softened beautifully. I personally have no complains about this bag. Also, not everyone and their sister has one

I agree Loquita, The Sak bags seem WAY better made and they are 1/3 of the price! Maybe I'll try one of those out. Do you own any?

I have one of those too. Can't complain about that one either. I guess I've been lucky with all of my bags.

So I've been using the Foley & Corinna Moto Hobo for a few weeks off and on and I must say, it's growing on me. Yes, the lining is very lame but after some use, the leather is getting softer and over all, I'm liking the style more and more. I bought some Apple leather conditioner and that has brought out some of the darker purple color. I would never pay full price for another one without seeing it in person though...I should put on a purse ban anyways!

I know what you mean. I own a F+C jet setter jr and while it's one of my most carried bags, the quality is a bit lacking for the price. I love the style and function of F+C bags, but the quality of leather, lining, hardware, etc. is definitely a let down. I would never pay full price for their bags, but would definitely buy them if the price was right. I hope you got a good price on your Moto (it is a great color)! I have to say though, because the leather is not as delicate as some of my other bags, I don't have to worry about it as much, which is why I carry it so often.

I have had two Foley + Corinna bags, a medium city bag and a lady duffle bag. The leather quality was very nice on both of them, it was very soft. Stiching was not that great and hardwear looked kinda cheap to me. I have sold the bags a long time ago, but for the price, I think they were ok.

Oh man. So I just bought two of these Foley Corinna bags. One City size and one Mid-city size. I can return the City, but not the Mid-City.

I hope I like these bags, has anyone here have anything great to say about them? I'm not a fan of shotty quality (I usually only wear Balenciaga bags and tho their quality isn't perfect, it's good enough for me).

And the handles get "soft" after use? How soft exactly?!

I just bought 3 F+C bags on Ebay this weekend, a charcoal mid city tote and a jetsetter jnr in light blue and a moto in fushia...I paid $150 for the city tote and moto and $90 for the jetsetter..so I am happy..haven't got them yet...But they look great..and for that price i can't complain

I just got a Foley & Corinna Mid City tote on ebay for a steal the other night and I'm so glad I found this thread because I was worried about the black lining not being authentic since the newer ones seem to have either a logo lining or a beige one.


I'm kind of bummed to hear it might have a lack of quality though, I haven't gotten it in the mail yet, fingers crossed!

I had one that I sold. It looked nice and the leather was decent (not great) but the hardware was pretty lightweight and seemed a bit flimsy. I got it for a low price as well. I would have been very upset to pay the retail price, but for 100.00 it was fine.

It wasn't either of the styles you mention, so maybe these are better than the one I got.
