That sounds really nice too! Even though I can't wait to bring out the spring/summer clothes, I bet I'll miss my nice jeans and sweaters then. :shame:

Maryland IS pretty nice in spring - especially when the Cherry blossoms are blooming in DC around early April.

I want cherry blossoms! I visited Baltimore when I was a lot younger but I'd love to go back. Road Trip! :woohoo:

I don't know about that...

I think the way women, constantly, criticise each other over petty things, such as looks and perceived class is a pretty serious issue, as it is preventing us from forfilling our true potential as human beings.

Most heterosexual men don't b*tch and snipe at each other, constantly, they generally support each other and IMO, this may have a bearing on the fact that males are still the dominant gender in this world.

As women, we should support and compliment each other; not tear each other down.

It's not as though, by saying other women are ugly, or too fat/skinny, or common, or whatever, it makes us any more attractive, or more classy, is it?

In fact, it probably has the reverse affect - b*tchy women generally seem uglier and more common than they actually are (to me, at least).

BTW, the word b*tch is another example of cultural difference between the UK and the US; in the UK, b*tch is not considered to be a swear word.

Very well put. I really am of the opinion that the main reason men can dominate women since the dawn of time is the way they interact with each other. Thats why you hear like "bro before ho" and "man's law" and all that nonsense. Women, OTH lack solidarity and metaphorically put ---"sell out" to men. I guess its all about men hunting in a pack vs. women collecting solo "evolutionary theory". LOL

Do come visit! I never get tired of them even though I see them every year.. :shame:

If you don't mind me asking, where exactly is the "steel city"? I never was good at geography...

 You are too cute! (I suck at geography too)Steel City is a nickname for Pittsburgh,Pa;)

Do you like Photography? I bet those Cherry Blossoms would make gorgeous photos!

Brrr, dunno how the weather has been in the UK but wow, we've had some strange weather in PA. I'd LOVE to go to your neck of the woods..always have. Ugh, I need to travel more.

Same here... :push:

I actually LOVE photography - my dad graduated from a photography school, so I guess that's where I get it from. I'll have to stop by DC once the rain stops to check it out.

Ahhh, Pennsylvania - I've only passed by there a couple times, never really stopped to explore. Darn.
