I would love to see yours 🥰 I’ve had 2 revamped because I refused to part with old beat up bags and didn’t want to have vachetta replaced by lv. All tags stay in the bag so date codes are there, which is nice. It really works out well for me 😊. I don’t choose that for most beat up bags, but this bag was special and I wanted to use it for big day trips and rodeo stuff. I have received messages from folks who hate that I would destroy a vintage lv but honestly I don’t care if they like it. I like it and it’s my bag 😂
I have noticed that the Hermes group are a little more forgiving with the “cowgirl” stuff or anything different. Maybe because Hermes was started as an equestrian brand?

Speedy 20 in the driver’s seat today. Such a fun little bag, and I’m liking it with the black Bandouliere strap so much that I sold the beige one with the clunky hardware that it came with!

I am sad that you would get messages from those that don't approve. I don't understand why people need to appoint themselves as bag police. It's your bag, and if it makes you happy that's what matters. But I will tell you that's why I haven't posted mine. Yes, I believe that Hermes roots being equestrian might make it more acceptable. The only thing that changed on that bag was engraved sliver overlays, which can be removed. Maybe that's another reason people don't seem to be so easily offended. One of my revamped bags was my personal Speedy, and the other is one that I purchased from the artist after I was sure they were genuine bags.

I generally don’t engage but my nature is to strike back so if they are too invasive I just bite back and then go on my way. I think most folks are ok with it and I have posted my 2 before. I admit I was nervous to post on my first one but most everyone is very kind about them or ignore it which is fine too. We all like different things and I love the forum for that 😊

I think they did a beautiful job- carry it in good health. Back in the day, there were comments about even when someone used a strap that wasn't LV (now we buy Etsy straps that are beautifully made). When I came back to the forum years later saw the fabulous creations (@Sunshine mama - is my inspiration) and now I change straps on the pochette with coach chain straps.
Now, I know you are returning the cowboy shirt, but that would be a perfect combo, don't you think?
