The baby blue was the worst color every made... it turns seafoam green over time!!

Does anyone have anything in the lavendre that hasn't discoloured? I have a Reade pm and key clef in lavendre from 2003 which are both still perfect - actually, neither have ever been carried. I may try and pluck up the courage to maybe put them on the marketplace here. At least I know they would go to a good home! If I haven't carried them by now, I guess I never will. :sad2: It will be a tough decision though, as the lavendre is sooo pretty. I'm just concerned though about people's experience with the discolouring?

Anyone?

I love this line though I dont own any pieces. I was contemplating purchasing a Vernis piece as my first LV piece but I was a bit worried about colour transfer and I wanted something durable and hardy plus I couldnt really rest until I found a Cerises Speedy which I was in love with.

But as a line, I think its really beautiful, the colours are lovely and they stand out so much.:D

I love all your Vernis collections so far, they are so dreamy. Thanks for posting.

GREAT collection! Very colorful! Man, I've GOT to add more color to my bag collection! I am loving the two on the bottom step on either side of the Bedford. I've never seen them before....what are they?

Great collection! I love your Bronze Forsyth and the Mini Forsyth as well. That's a style I wish they would bring back. Very nice! Thanks for the pictures!

Those two bags are called the Sullivan Horizontal GM. I am actually going to list the Lavender one on ebay this week.

I am glad to see so many people love the line like i do , yes I know its fragile and high maintence... but gosh it's pretty ... and well when you look at it .. we love or designer bags because of the look and feel and style , and having expensive that we want to take care of I think is just part of the bargin , they are peices of art, not just purses from Kmart(nothing is wrong with buying from the big K , just not for me) So IMHO getting a look you want far outweighs the cons

.......but watch me moan about issues 4 months down the line ::hehe:::laugh:

Vernis is more sturdy than most people realize. If you protect the handles with shining monkey or applegard, there really isnt that much problems with vernis. Whatever you do, make sure not to get any ink on it. It will never come out. The light colors do tend to get color transfer. Thats why I like the dark colors the best.
