Trust me, the micro chip will be 1000% easier to duplicate than the bag.

I agree with this wholeheartedly...many people are excellent with technology these days. I'd be willing to bet they'd have fakes with these mere weeks after being introduced.

They know better. They'll figure out if it's a fake.

And once technology/security advances, so do the hackers/criminals. So a computer chip wouldn't work for very long.

Well, they won't take back fakes anyway. However as long as the bag is in saleable condition (not dirty or otherwise obviously used), they'll resell it. Otherwise, the bags are sent back and sold at the once a year sale for employees for a deep discount. The consumers never will receive a sale price on a piece.
