I’ve had mine for two years, and I wear it 24/7 with no issues. I got one for my wife 2 months ago and hers must have snagged on something and she looked down later and it was deformed. We don’t live anywhere near a store so I will call where we purchased, but it’s disappointing View attachment 5154188
Oh my.. :/. Would appreciate an update. I am honestly quite shocked that Cartier doesn't offer some kind of lifetime warranty on such expensive pieces.. That's the only thing stopping me from buying it at the moment..

Hope this helps

That doesn't work when it's that deformed. I had the same advice given to me, the metal is actually bent, so any way that it sits looks exactly the same  mine had to go in for repair.

This same thing just happened to mine over the weekend (I got it in December) and I was devastated. I brought it in today and they told me 8-10 weeks for repair time and that she’d let me know if there would be a cost before they make the repair. She also told me not to sleep with it on and asked if I wanted to just keep it since repair was going to take a while (umm what?!) She was friendly but I’m kind of annoyed at their approach if this is clearly a common issue.

The most frustrating thing is that a lot of SAs tell us to not take them off and on constantly, then a lot of others tell us not to sleep in them. Very confusing, it seems they don't know much about how this bracelet performs yet as it's still rather new. Tbh I'm not surprised that they're having issues, and they probably will continue to have them with this bracelet, just like how they've had to reissue the Love 3/4 times with new locking systems :annoyed:

In terms of my repair, it was quite fast and it was free - so I can't really complain about that aspect.

Do you mind if I ask which store you went to please? I can see you’re also based in London (just incase my bends out of shape I can go there!)

I bought it from Harrods but sent it into Cartier's repair centre with a shipping kit - the manager of the Harrods boutique wasn't the most helpful when I spoke to her about my repair so I just rang Cartier general client services and did it that way. :flowers: the repairs are done in the UK so they don't take too long.

I originally wanted the small Love as a bracelet I could take off every night and my SA warned me about the mechanism which is not designed for this. He advised me to take the small JUC instead. He said that this one can be taken off frequently. He also warned me that it is a delicate piece of jewelry.
Though, I banged mine really hard once already and nothing noticeable happened.
My only concern is to get it caught on something and have it pulled hard.. I think that would be damaging..
I think Cartier should inform their SA for them to give the correct advice about this very special piece of jewelry - I have to say I absolutely love mine and have no regrets for having purchased it (with the correct information/advice I received).

Wow… thanks for all the info guys! I was so close to pulling the trigger on the small with diamonds but after reading this I think I’ll definitely wait on it. I’m thinking I’ll either save for the regular size or wait to see if they redesign the small.

My JUC SM has now gone  sold it and posted it off this morning. Too much worrying about wear and tear for me. Hopefully one day I'll repurchase if they re-design too.
