Hi all - for those of you who have owned the WG 5-motif for some time, have you experienced any dullness to the tone? In some pics the motifs look dark, and I'm unsure if that's the lighting or wear over time. I have a YG Guilloche 5-motif that is still as stunning as it was the day I bought it, but have seen pics of faded WG love bracelets which turns me off and is giving me pause. Hard to say no to the sparkle of guilloche. :)

No not at all! It’s the lighting.

Hello everyone!

I'm considering getting the 10 motif WG guilloche for my first VCA purchase. I really love the design and how it catches the light in the reviews that I've seen so far. Just have a few reservations because I will have to order this online since there is no store in my area. Do you think that this is too "dressy" for everyday wear? I wear casual clothes most of the time such as jeans and athleisure so I'm unsure if it will stand out too much. And has anyone seen the WG guilloche on someone with a warm tone complexion? I fall on the warmer side and I've heard that YG would suit more but I want to start building a WG collection.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks :heart:

You probably won’t be able to make this a first purchase since the 10 motif WG Guilloche is a special order and only comes as a 20. The YG comes as a 10 though which may help you choose between the two if that length appeals to you

You can order two WG bracelets from online and connect the two to see if you fancy the look. If it works out, you can decide on the necklace or keep the two bracelets and wear as necklace or stacking bracelets if that appeals to you. My SA showed me this trick and it’s cheaper than buying the necklace.

Well, I’ll say that I haven’t experience dullness per se, but it gets a lot of dust on it and it makes it look dull. After a cleaning, however, it looks good as new

I got mine in April which isn’t that long ago but I wear it 24/7. I clean it 1x a week with a soft brush and it always looks gorgeous. It only looks sort of dull if you let the dirt build up. I also use lotion so that’s saying something (some people don’t so their jewelry stays cleaner)

Hi hi, hope everyone is enjoying their day. Do any of you know if you’re able to order a 10 motif WG guilloche? I have the guilloche bracelet and the sweet pave pendant, and I feel like the WG guilloche pendant would be redundant and I don’t normally layer necklaces. So, I’d like a 10 motif since it’s a much different look than the sweet. Has anyone ordered this? I don’t really want to link two 5s together as well

Hello I need some help !
I haven’t owned any guilloche pieces I’ve been eyeing the WG guilloche 5 motifs bracelet. I’m not to sure on wear and tear and how it will look years down the road. I have stone pieces but was debating on adding WG guilloche or blue agate.

Guilloche will get micro scratches in it but it still shines beautifully and no one will really notice. It’s just up to you if those tiny scratches will bother you. You will see them and they are somewhat unavoidable. But the guilloche has a gorgeous, eye-catching presence (I have YG pave/guilloche 5 motif). I have the blue agate 5 motif too and adore it as well. They are very different looks though, and I choose the agate with certain outfits, whereas guilloche you could wear with everything.
If you get the guilloche, remember to wash it with some soapy water and even a very soft toothbrush at least weekly because it picks up dust easily and appears scratched, but really it is just dust.
