White gold guilloche tarnish?

I buy a jewelry cleaning solution from Amazon - so that wouldn't be safe to use?
If you start seeing tarnishing on your WG guilloche pieces, meaning the rhodium has worn off you'd need to get it re-plated first. After that, wipe it clean with the cleaning cloth from VCA daily or after each wear, and then clean it with ultrasonic cleaner occasionally to get rid of all the built up gunk that stuck in the tight crevices should be more than sufficient. Like others have mentioned, any polishing clothes/cream or jewelry cleaning solution which often contains ammonia or other acid base active ingredients are usually too harsh for cleaning rhodium plated WG pieces, not that it would damage the gold, but the rhodium plating on top of it. You can use it very sparingly on YG and RG pieces though.

If the white gold tarnishes, you’ll definitely need replating of the rhodium. The polishing creams or polishing cloth won’t work. Some people are sweaty enough to see yellow (tarnish) after regular wear. My SA had a WG with diamond love bracelet, and she had hers rhodium plated again after 10 years of daily wear. All depends on the person.

I don’t think I ever read of anyone replating their piece in rhodium in the VCA threads though. I only heard of it in the Cartier tpf threads. Most people who spend a fortune on VCA do baby their pieces - clean, put away in wolf containers or special ziplock bags. It is a piece of art.
im thinking of the WG love with diamond from cartier but worried about it looking very scratched and dull due to the rhodium. Was she still happy with it?

I took some current pics of my WG and carnelian compared with it when I first got it in early 22. I can definitely tell that it is less shiny but I’m
Not sure you would call it oxidation. To be fair the surface area of the WG is limited so comparison is difficult. With the naked eye it appears duller now, even compared to my chalcedony which I think I bought in 2018. I wore my chalcedony less. The WG would be unworn for months and then worn 24/7 for 6-7 months at a time by my mom. She does a lot of cleaning but no exercise or gardening. I wear my chalcedony now and then and always take it off at night, never to exercise or wash dishes or clean. I need to dig up my vintage WG and do some comparisons.

I am not sure why the tones are off. I will try again on another day.
