Which wrist for bracelets, and why?

Mine have always lived on my right, since I always wear a watch on the left and don't want to scratch the watch. It is a little irritating to have them hit the table when I use a mouse with my right hand, but other than that I am happy with the set up I've got going on

I have a mousepad with a gel wrist support and that helps keep the bracelets from banging. :)

I just received my first Cartier Love Bangle in YG and currently have it on my right wrist because I was concerned it would bang against my watch on my left hand. I want it to have the least amount of wear and tear and hope to keep it as shiny as possible. Should I switch to my left hand next to my watch, or leave it on my right arm which I use more? I am right handed.

Im left handed so I wear my love and JUC on my right typically, but somedays I move my JUC to the left and don’t really notice any difference in the amount of wear that happens to the bracelets! Also I am very active outdoors and with my dogs, and a student so I do lots of writing and typing so I feel like I got scratches and wear to mine really fast, but once it reaches a certain point you will not worry so much about the scratches

Leave it on your left ,it will take less wear. I know I wore mine on right ,they got scratched the surface alot more .wear your watch on your right. Congradulation on your love

I swap it back and forth as needed -- the perks of having a cuff. :) It's on the right if I'm wearing my fitness tracker on my left. It's on the left if I have a dressier watch to stack with, or a bunch of other bracelets when I'm not wearing a watch at all.

I love the idea of the cuff for that reason too. My husband specifically wanted to give me the Cartier bracelet with the screws so I can’t take it off. He’s an odd one. [emoji23]

I opted for my right arm because I used to wear watches regularly and didn't want the extra wear on my bracelet. But if your dominant is your right hand you're going to get it anyway. Probably even moreso. I know a lot of people (including myself 5 years ago) are worried about scratching up their love right after they get it, but I can tell you today that I really prefer the love with the patina.

Your husband isn't odd, that's original design of the Love. It's meant to be placed by your lover so that you can't remove it. That's what my wife and I did for our last anniversary when we each got matching Loves. With that having been said, it's fully understandable the bracelet might not work for you and the cuff may be better. The bracelet and cuff are both beautiful pieces and you'll enjoy either one!

I wear mine on my dominant hand, which is my right. My watch is on my left wrist.

I tried wearing my bracelet on my left, but I found that I gesticulate with this hand - which led to incessant banging of my bracelet on surfaces. My right hand also makes impact with surfaces, but I discovered it's not as jarring as my left hand doing so.

Thanks for educating me!

I don't know why but I don't like the feeling of bracelets on my left hand. They only feel "right" on my right hand. I wear a watch on my left wrist no problem but bracelets have to be on my right. Another strange OCD thing of mine I think. I need the balance. LOL.

As far as wear and tear, it's a bracelet I plan to wear 24/7 for life so it's going to get scratched regardless of what wrist I wear it on and I've learned to embrace them and let them add to the charm of the jewelry. I don't call it scratched.....it's well loved.

I wear mine on my left wrist but I would prefer to wear them on my right. However, since I'm right handed and a guy, they'd be in the way of guy stuff like working on the car, house, etc. In looking at how people wear them, and I see quite a few Love's in Los Angeles, I'd have to say 90% of them are on the right.
