When halos first came out and were very new, I loved them.
Now there are so many different styles (lots of bling/intricacy) that to me, many of them look more like right hand rings.
I have always loved the emerald cut but it has to be a substantial size (emeralds tend to show smaller than true carat total) and when flanked by trillions or traps, they can be quite beautiful. I think the newer cuts that are similar to emerald in shape but have more facets are very pretty.

I just took a pic for example purposes. Yes, I got the second pic from a sim site, because I thought it was a pretty pic. These are not the actual rings in question. As for whether she's getting a natural diamond or a sim, I've got no clue!

Cushion for me! I like my stones to sparkle. Emeralds are beautiful and understated, but there's no sparkle, no life to me.:shrugs:
