My ring has been sent away for sizing. My SA said if I change my mind about the setting, Monday is the final day to decide.

First ring is mine with the simple classic Tiffany platinum.

Second ring is something I drooled over, but dear hubby thinks it's too busy. If I decide on the second, all they will do is switch the diamond from my classic setting and set it in a new channel set band and I have to pay the difference. Obviously, the channel set band is more expensive.

What do you think? Which setting to you prefer. I'm 50/50 at the moment, but leaning towards the classic, but the more I compare the two, the more indecisive I get.

The first one, my friend has a ring very similar to the second one & although I love it I sometimes think it looks too fussy & her wedding band is a full diamond eternity band which was made to match her E Rind, her diamond is around 2 carats & then the sides which I'm not sure of the carat weight but it is a stunning ring but I think the diamond gets lost among all the smaller diamonds IYKWIM

Choose the one that you love because you have to look at it every day so you need to love it & have no regrets about your choice. GL :D

Hands down the first one. I have the same ring and after so many years, I still love it. I love the fact that it's simple and timeless. If you ever want extra jazz, you can always add another diamond band whenever you feel like it.

While I prefer the solitaire, you have to follow your heart on this. You will look at your rings all the time, you don't want to feel like you settled. If you decide on the channel set I'd put a thin plain band in the middle to break it up a bit. That will give you a nice stacked look. Good luck deciding!

I think you're right on this. My eyes can't decide what to focus on since there are so many diamonds to look at.

There's definitely more flexibility with the classic e-ring. That's a big plus. I'm considering getting another 2 mm channel set band and wear the e-ring between the two.

Oh, a thin band sounds good. I tried on the bezet as a spacer between the channel set band and the classic Tiffany e-ring but didn't tried it with the channel set e-ring. Maybe I'll ask my SA to take a picture of this stacking. But you're right, I need to follow my heart, which is confused right now. I'm leaning towards sticking with the classic, but the channel set is so amazing. It wasn't something I was considering until I saw a few tpfers modeled it on the forum.
