The novo is a beautiful ring, but when I saw it in a 1 ct, the center stone presented smaller than the actual carat weight was. I do not know what size stone you are looking for. I chose the classic, but the bead work is very beautiful. Happy shopping!

If you have a budget - then you need to decide to do better color with smaller stone or not as icy white and larger stone. If money is no issue - go with "D" or "E" color AND big stone!

Random story here but....my husband got me the yellow diamond Legacy ring for my right hand. I have very petite fingers so the ring ended up scraping my skin off (a bloody mess!) because of the side diamond at the bottom of the stone setting on the side. I'd try it on for a little bit in the store if you have petite fingers/sensitive skin like me.

Thanks everyone you help has been extremely helpful.

Guccissima-wow thanks for the heads up. My skin is pretty sensitive so I'll make sure it fits comfortable. I would hate to have that happen. Hope your finger has healed.

Oh please post pics when you get the ring!! hehe (just being nosey here) we are in the same profession. I'm in my mid-20s and just started working as a clinical psychologist registrar. Im planning to get a legacy ring as my RHR early next year, need to start saving $$:D.

Hey Hokaplan
I've been noticing we have similar taste in e-rings from previous post. I like the novo too, but don't know if it is too simple (if that make sense). I love the legacy but don't know if the cushion-type cut is right for me. The Round brilliant reminds me of the legacy but round instead so that is intriguing. The Jean one is so unique and that's why it caught my attention. I'm not really a fan of prongs at all but the novo and Jean are just so gorgeous. However the Jean is only available in select carat sizes the largest at the moment is 1.5 and I'm looking for 2-0 preferably 2.5. I emailed them yesterday and they said I could have it made, but I don't know if I want to go through all that trouble. Let me know about the rounded legacy you saw. This is my first engagement been with FH for almost 5 years (in January). I'm 21 and currently a student about to start grad school in August, planning on becoming a licensed Clinical Psychologist.

I just saw your last post. Thanks. I'm hoping to get engaged within the next month or two. Keeping my fingers crossed. Super excited. I haven't tried the rings on yet going in about two or so weeks, I think. I believe the prices are around 40-40k for 2.0 and above depending on the 4cs. But I did see a previous post of someone who got a 2.2 Tiffany e-ring for 28,000 don't remember the specs though.

You mentioned you currently have a prong ring are you thinking of upgrading the ring you have now?

oooh I would LOVE to see pics of your ring when you get it, I have had my eye on this for about two years now, although I am already married, my Husband has said he will buy it for me, but won't tell me when - I said I would want to go to Tiffany's on 5th Ave, to get it and enjoy the whole experience so I told him not to buy it as a surprise!

I always wanted a 1ct Tiffany ring, and when I saw this, I knew it was the one!

I did try it on in Tiffany's in Harrods about a year ago and had to tear myself away! I have looked at many other similar rings, nothing compares to it.

We are conveniently going to New York in February.....so lets see (fingers crossed but I would be a very very lucky girl!)

Enjoy!
