Hi! You've been obsessed with these like I have been the last few days! LOL! Without knowing you at all - this is my opinion:
I only like the novo if it is at least 1.75 carat since it appears smaller than the other 3 choices since no diamonds surround it. I love the legacy when it is .90 carat and up. The round brilliant bead is also lovely. Do you want prongs though? The #4 choice IMO has too much going on. I don't know your age, style, occupation and if this is your first or only e-ring so it is really hard for me to give advice here. I already have a round that is not Tiffany and is 1.25 carat. But I fell in love recently with the Tiffany stones. I thought I liked the bezet but then became interested in the legacy without the graduated sidestones and the new style called "embrace". But the "embrace" has prongs and I don't want that cause my other ring has prongs. I thought I saw a rounded legacy though. I need to call to check if I did! Anyway, good luck with your decision-making!

The 2-2.5 in the Legacy or round bead will look huge! I'm so envious! I'm guessing the prices are well over $40,000. I believe that they're $23,000-$26,000 for a tad over 1 carat. Can't wait to see your pictures. When are you hoping to get engaged? Congrats in advance!

Hey Hokaplan
I've been noticing we have similar taste in e-rings from previous post. I like the novo too, but don't know if it is too simple (if that make sense). I love the legacy but don't know if the cushion-type cut is right for me. The Round brilliant reminds me of the legacy but round instead so that is intriguing. The Jean one is so unique and that's why it caught my attention. I'm not really a fan of prongs at all but the novo and Jean are just so gorgeous. However the Jean is only available in select carat sizes the largest at the moment is 1.5 and I'm looking for 2-0 preferably 2.5. I emailed them yesterday and they said I could have it made, but I don't know if I want to go through all that trouble. Let me know about the rounded legacy you saw. This is my first engagement been with FH for almost 5 years (in January). I'm 21 and currently a student about to start grad school in August, planning on becoming a licensed Clinical Psychologist.

I just saw your last post. Thanks. I'm hoping to get engaged within the next month or two. Keeping my fingers crossed. Super excited. I haven't tried the rings on yet going in about two or so weeks, I think. I believe the prices are around 40-40k for 2.0 and above depending on the 4cs. But I did see a previous post of someone who got a 2.2 Tiffany e-ring for 28,000 don't remember the specs though.

You mentioned you currently have a prong ring are you thinking of upgrading the ring you have now?

I can't upgrade through Tiffany since my original is not a Tiffany. So I would have to start over. But I have 3 children so I'm sure one of them can have my original some day!You and I should find out if they do a round Legacy. TylerDunden thinks he may have seen it before. I thought I saw one yesterday but was confused after looking at so many. Presently, I'm leaning towards the legacy in either shape it may be available in. But I'm in no hurry. I never thought that I could see the difference between a Tiffany ring and an unbranded. The Tiffany rings are truly the most gorgeous that I have ever seen anywhere. Please keep posting and let us know what you find out!

I'm sure one of children would love to have your original ring someday. I can't wait to have kids (one of these days). I wish Tiffany would post all their inventory on their website, but I know they don't always. When I go in a few weeks to try the rings on all ask if they have a round Tiffany legacy, which would be amazing if they did. I was on another forum previously before I found out about this one and I got attacked for just mentioning the Tiffany e-ring, which in my opinion, and I totally agree with you, are the most gorgeous. I will definitely keep you guys updated. I think I agree with you that the Jean Schlumberger e-ring might be too much. I just want something somewhat different than what everyone has, especially if we are paying the extra money, which is totally worth it to me, there is just no comparison to Tiffany.

i like the novo or legacy. not a fan of bead set rb but like the embrace. i wouldn't go for the jean ring because it looks like too much esp from the side. i have a ring that looks like that from the side and i am constantly knocking it into things because it is so high! maybe i am just clumsy though... :)

anyway trustlove, i think you will find that one of them appeals to you more than all the others when you finally get to see them in person! :) this is a nice dilemma.

Once you see and try the rings on in person, you'll really know what is best for you. I also really like the classic solitaire and in my opinion, the classic Tiffany solitaire looks nothing like other "Tiffany" settings. Then if you ever want to pay to change your setting to a bead set or other setting you could... I don't know how seriously you've looked at prices but the J.S. settings are around $30k for a 1 carat center stone, so if you were to ask your FH for a 2-2.5 ct Jean ring, he should expect to drop AT LEAST 50k for a I, VS2 stone.

Thanks so much ladies. Ok so I think I have narrowed it down to the Legacy or the Brilliant Round, if anyone has pics of either please post.

On a side note FH wants to wear his wedding band when we get it in a few weeks but we aren't getting married for about another two years (unless we move the wedding date up). For the wedding day would you recommend him just taking it off and giving it back when we exchange our vows? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
