Ame has great advice. I know that several posters would prefer a more understated setting based on your manicure it appears that you love a lot of sparkle. The halo setting will definitely give you that.

ITA. I think your stone will stand out much more either as a solitaire (no halo) or with a very dainty halo. The halo in the second setting is a little too chunky and will swallow up your stone.

I completely agree with everything ame has said. The setting she posted I think will be elegant and showcase your stone the best.
