Have you tried any of these on with a stone that size? You need to.

+1

Yes, do this. I had my heart set on a particular Tacori halo setting. It was gorgeous in a 1.5 ct, but when I saw it in a 2, it looked really bad. It changed the whole aesthetic of the ring... When you try on each of those styles, you'll know... :)

Holy crap! I'd LOVE to see that bad boy - please please PLEASE post some pics! Although I'm very happy with my setting, sometimes I regret not getting the Anne Marie or another halo from Victor... :(

Four. Carats.
...my head just exploded. LOL

Oops- I was mistaken. It's actually 5 carats!!!!! Anyway, these are pics she posted on another forum-I haven't taken any in person, but when I see her again in a couple of weeks- I'll try to take some shots. It's a beautiful antique cushion cut and in person the faceting on it is unbelievably gorgeous!!

Ohhh yes! I've seen that gorgeous ring in the other forum - she's a lucky lady!

Wow... I am speechless

I have a 2.59 on a six prong solitaire. 4.5 fingers. I'm already resetting mine to a five stone. I like bling. What can I say?

Sorry that the wide old school band kinda distorts the picture. And sorry for this huge pic. Ugh!!

I would choose a to leave it as a solitaire, but have stones on the band. I would choose something from Victor Canera.

Which 5 stones setting are you interested in?
GORGE!

It would look like this, but properly set.ImageUploadedByPurseForum1371743207.766241.jpg

I know it's kinda boring, not like super skinny pave bands or halos that are all the rage now. I have worn it as a solitaire for a year now, and I still love the look of a five stone. I guess I really like the finger coverage and because the smaller stones are set low and do Not taper, it really allows the center stone to be the star. The side stones will be 30 points each. I was really tempted to get the matching five stone band too. ;). But enough for now...

Love the reset!! :woohoo:

Those ring settings are spectacular!! :D

Kind of makes me wish I'd gone with a slightly funkier setting for my solitaire - but I think proportion is really key in these things and a lot of those settings really shine with a 2+ stone - not so much with a 1.5 :shame:

I just recently reset mine to a halo. I love it! And mine is only 1.08 cts. Yours would look amazing in a halo.
