Yea Frankie has a nice halo, for sure. She does definitely want spread and presence on her hand though. So if that is what you want, to maximize presence, a halo can help, but so can the right proportions in a 3 stone (ie sides not too big)

Yes, ame, this is very true... You're right - it's all about proportions.

I'm a sucker for a large round solitaire three-stone with pears. So classically beautiful and elegant! :) Also, the angle at which the side stones are set is very important in a three stone IMO...

I don't care for settings that have the sides jutting straight out without the proper angle. I wouldn't trust just anyone to make that setting. LM's 3-stones are set with perfect angles and proportions for making the solitaire the star. Now, if I could just convince the hubs that I *needed* an upgrade... :D

I am not a big fan of a simple solitaire- especially when not wearing a wedding band. I have seen the Victor Canera micropave halo and it is gorgeous!! The girl I know with one just upgraded to a 4 carat diamond, yet the halo is so tiny all it does is frame the diamond so it does not detract at all. Just a little tiny ring of diamonds with no metal- perfection!! So my vote would be for round diamond in a cushion halo-but only if made by Victor Canera, Leon Mege, or Steven Kirsch.

You have such a tiny ring size - it'll look HUGE!

I really don't think you can go wrong! :)
I am blessed with petite hands I guess. Everything looks more substantial on me.
I am just so torn between a good double prong solitaire by Leon, a delicate halo by Victor, and a 3-stone w/ elegant pear side diamonds. They are all so yummy!!

I voted solitaire as that is my preference for myself (six prong very delicate band), but that's because I wear it with a thin channel set band at the same time. Since you are wearing it alone I would change my vote to the 3-stone pear. I haven't ever seen this irl to my recollection and in pics it looks gorgeous. I've seen baguettes, traps and side rounds but not pear on the sides and how amazing it looks with them! What size sides do you think you would go for to showcase the stone?

Ahhh, the decisions! ;). Since you'll have plenty of finger coverage regardless, I'd go for the three stone with pears and no melee on the band. That way, you'll have no trouble finding a band, and you can have fun switching up different styles of bands. :)

Oh! And you can wear it sans wedding band sometimes if you choose to do so...

OMG, I'm so excited to see pics once you decide and get it! [I live vicariously through all TPF ladies... :D]

Holy crap! I'd LOVE to see that bad boy - please please PLEASE post some pics! Although I'm very happy with my setting, sometimes I regret not getting the Anne Marie or another halo from Victor... :(

Four. Carats.
...my head just exploded. LOL
