seton - wow! I love your photos - greens really suit you! What a wonderful set of images for spring - love the little playful squirrels - right out of Beatrix Potter, and the FI is a fresh combination with your sweater.

94107 - Din Tini is one of my favorite silks just for this reason - the printed embroidery looks like the real thing.

My spring silk today: Jardins des Métamorphoses by Houtin. It looks very antique to me, although it was only issued a few years ago.

Lanit, I LOVE this scarf and it's especially delicious in these colors. I missed out on this one, don't know why... But this c/w was never in my boutique. It is lovely on you with your cream sweater.

Here are a few random contributions.
Les Fleurs d'Indiennes with my 160 Farandole for chincac.:smile1:
Kilim with a scarf ring worn a la Seton.:smile1:
GM Kelly en Caleche in fuchsia - my first and much loved GM. I like the warm rust color with the fuchsia.

For critters week and unfortunately belated "Fairytales" which has an abundance of critters :p
and my latest scarf Pique Fleuri GM in 02. Still have to break that one out - thought I would wear it for Easter but didn't want to spill food on it.:roflmfao:

Hope you all had a great weekend.

I loved seeing your scarves, and Farandole in action, Maedi!
Your Kilim ensemble is especially gorgeous, and I love the bunny on your Fairytales! :smile1:

etoile - what a delight to see the Alphabet 3 finesse. I have one in pink/brown but I really like ur cw. So crisp.

Les Quartre Saisons. Showing my fave part of the scarf - the frolicking squirrels

seton, so glad you enjoyed seeing my Alphabet 3, and would love to see yours!
Loved seeing your various animal themed scarves, and especially love the 'frolicking squirrels' on your Les Quartre Saisons!

Maedi and Seton, you girls look amazing!! The brique and greens kill me! LOVE-LY!!

Here is my look for the day. I actually had to go to work which was a huge chore--makeup, shower, hair, shoes and silk. Haven't done that combination for 10 days---Easter Break is the best, right Maedi and Ladybaga!!!

Your whole ensemble is so lovely, sparkle! :smile1:

I'm so behind on this thread.. Sorry ladies.. I have 7 or 8 pages to catch up on.

D Lee, foulard_addict, Ladybaga, Sparklelisab, thank you ladies for comments on photo finish outfit. I figured an "etoupe" looking DVF dress would match an etoupe silk :).

Sparklelisab: your husky scarf is perfect on you and FOR you! Hoping everything's going okay for you and your babies :)

LQYB, I adore your various ways of wearing Les Spertifs and love it around your head a la Jackie O.

jb_356, Photo Finish and your entire outfit are wonderful

Lanit, you are on a roll. Gorgeous statement necklace and great styling for Ex Libris.

Sparkle, hope your doctor is it went well. Your carre is beautiful on you.

Thanks Maedi!! :)

Btw, has anyone figured out how to multiquote on the new iPhone app?

This 'no multiquote' is really cramping my style and slowing me down on keeping up with the threads.. ;) lol

Thank you so much, ladies! Your posts are my inspirations:woohoo:....I hesitated buying the 70 carre, having never seen it in person before. Finally decided to adopt it with intention to frame and hang in the nursery, sort of Easter present for the boys. One look and a knot later, I knew I had to find something else for the boys (sorry, babies!). Have a lovely spring day, everyone!
Lanit-- these are for you....

I love this carrelover!! Such a cute print I can see how it didn't end up in the boys room. :)

Etoile, thank you very much.

Sparklelisab, I hear you regarding the end of spring break. It is tough to be back on the grinding schedule again and was wonderful to be on our own schedule, wasn't it? (Sleeping in, shower whenever, leisure lunches etc:woohoo::woohoo: You look fantastic btw.

My favorite animals in H scarves? Horses, birds, and tigers.
Funny, I was thinking about how to get all those three in one shoot so that I don't have to take 3 pictures (I'm THAT lazy), so this is what I came up with:

A tiger with Pegase wings!
Dallet, if you're out of ideas, please make scarf with a tiger that can fly .Thank you and best regards - Greedy Chestnut.

Ok ok enough joking, my contribution this week is the Pegase scarf in tourterelle (not white).

You are too cute chestnutty! Lol ;). Btw, twins on this cw of Tigre du Bengale. Just love those blue eyes! And cousins on Pegase :)

Hello my scarf friends!

First sending a belated thank you to Tango for all your past efforts, so appreciated! And sending many thanks to Jahna for offering to be our new Scarf Mistress!

So many lovely posts over the past few days by, jp_536, ms piggy, LQYB, sparklelisab, Carrelover, lanit, and Chestnutty. I haven't been able to keep up properly with comments, but have loved seeing them all!

For the animal theme week, here is my Alphabet 3 90cm, designed by Annie Faivre. This is a Finesse from 1999, in a creamy white, with light grey. I love this whimsical design, especially in this very quiet palette. The various animals are hard at work, depicting various letters. The spring 1990 scarf booklet explains that the letters 'Y', 'J', 'A', and 'S' surrounding 'Hermes' have a special meaning, as they are the initials of members of the Hermes family.

Thank you etoile!

And OMG! This scarf is amazing... I LOVE the design!!! From 1990 huh? Guess being in HS at the time wouldn't have allowed me to venture into the world of H.. Too bad bc I would've been all over this "more than meets the eye" design :)
