Sparklelisab and Hermesick, you gals are so sweet to comment on my color choices, but yes, there are MANY colors that do not agree with me: scarves where the majority of the colors are super pastel blues, light greys, etoupe, light lavender, light yellow....I could go on and on. I love these colors but they can only be accents paired with stronger, bolder colors. I saw a beautiful (but not my colors) Photo Finish at our boutique a couple of weeks ago that had light pink/beige/white/soft lavender/soft yellow and I didn't even try it on because I knew it would not glow on me. Hope a tpfer buys it and posts a mod shot so that I can admire it here. Now, when Photo Finish comes out in bold, bright, hot colors......SIGN ME UP! ;)

My Saturday ritual again, playtime with my scarves. My new year collecting resolution is to collect more black/white/brown/purple and I think I need to stick with that.
Inspired by Pierina2's yummy pics of her turquoise silks, I'm sharing some of my favorite black/white silks this weekend. And, do you guys know last Friday was the "Wear Red Day"?

The quintessential scarf for a lace-lover - Doigts de Fee - among the two Cathy Latham's designs that I love - the other one is Brandebourgs

The workhorse CSMC - I own this design only in monochromatic cws: cobalt blue and this

The favorite A. Honore design ;) - Must-have for sepia scarf lovers

LOVE this trio of beauties! Love all three but my favorite is Doigts de Fee! I haven't seen this one modeled before. The lace detailing is so realistic! WOW WOW WOW! I also love the bold contrast of the black lace on the white. Paired with your red top is my kind of styling.
Way to go, Chestnutty, and thank you for posting these!

Oh thank you Hermesick!!! Grand Tenue in this cw is truly dynamic. I'm not so in love with the design per say, but in this cw, it just grabbed me a shook me :p

I'm so happy to enable with CSMC. The Cobalt is truly smashing! Sometimes it's hard to "see the forest through the trees".... there are so many beautiful cws of this design with so many great photos that it can be difficult to recognize the gem that is perfect for us.... so I'm glad you selected this one and I can't wait to see your pics!!!!

Will do - with huge pleasure - as soon as my new familiy member arrives :)

Same here, I love all pastel colors but cannot wear them, I look sickly and washed out, they are too pale for my complexion....

Chestnut: your posts are gorgeous! Holy Camole lady. I think I need to start playing with scarves on Satuday instead of snapping pics as I run out the door for work. Maybe I will look half as good as you. Ha! The lace scarf was my first along with Din Tini. I adore it.
Hermesick: you look amazing as usual. The bright yellow is such a rare post it seems. Glorious with blue.

Flots 70 cm today~Love the colors of this and how when it is tied it appears geometric. I think it is supposed to be ribbons you get when you win a horse show~but in any event the contrasts are wonderful....

I am your scarf hero? You are way too kind! I am honored and flattered all rolled up in to one. I have to say that after you posted your lovely pic, I jumped over to H.com to checked the 70s just hoping and praying there would be one more of your colorway in the proverbial drawer. No dice. (Which is probably good for me, cause I haven't checked out the Spring season line up yet. :p)
I will admire yours from afar! (I love how this scarf looks like candy.)

Hermes did it in 70cm for F/W and in pocket size for Spring 2013. Been thinking of getting one for DH's suit pocket. This is one of those patterns that the corners have so much interest ~~ I have no DOUBT you will find plenty in the new 2013 silk drawers to entice you yet ~~

What a great idea to have the gavroche for your husband's suit pocket! That would look so fine! Is there any chance that he would model it for us?
