My Saturday ritual again, playtime with my scarves. My new year collecting resolution is to collect more black/white/brown/purple and I think I need to stick with that.
Inspired by Pierina2's yummy pics of her turquoise silks, I'm sharing some of my favorite black/white silks this weekend. And, do you guys know last Friday was the "Wear Red Day"?
The quintessential scarf for a lace-lover - Doigts de Fee - among the two Cathy Latham's designs that I love - the other one is Brandebourgs

The workhorse CSMC - I own this design only in monochromatic cws: cobalt blue and this

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Woo Hooo! The weather has been so lovely here. Cool, sunny.....I feel like I should be in California or that it should be Easter right now!
Here is my casual Friday look keeping with the "Hermes-name-in-scarf" theme. My Graff 90cm paired with a bright orange (but looks red in photo) shirt.
Felt a strangeness in the air, winds swirling outside as I had to head off to a meeting. February blues?? TGIF?? On the topic of Pierre Marie & gavroches, I picked this one out today...introducing Madame Cuir, surrounded by all her leather goodies.
Not on theme here, but taking advantage of a bit of a "cold snap" - at least in Florida the 50's are considered cold.I went to a Chanel makeup event and came home with a coral-pink lipstick called Enjouee. Think that they could have been influenced by the Cavalcadour and rose jaipur?
Hi Scarfies!!! I have been super obsessed with the Spring silks thread and have not been participating much here.... sorry... but I have been lurking and drooling!!!
We did have a one-day break from the freezing tempts here in DC the other day... it was in the 60s!!!! I took the opp to pull out one of my fav silks and give the GMs a rest.... this pic was taken prior to accessorizing but this scarf really steals the show. Oh, how I loooooove this L'Art!!!!
it's perfect paired with orange. wonderfully pop.
kitkatblue, is dat your collex in ur avatar? You should open up ur own thread. Love ur Vespa. I prefer it to the Evelyn and it doesnt get nearly enough love.
Thank you Israeli_Flava! Looking forward to your shawl report on Saturday! We are cheering for you to come back with the goods!!!
Thank you, kitkatblue! I love staring at your avatar! Great collection of silks!
eagle, You are giving me the big head! Thank you so much! I am trying to show restraint this season and limit myself to two or three silkies. Running out of shelf space! You have been posting some gorgeous new ones lately!
Thank you TankerToad! I hope you are wrapped up in 100 Hermes shawls to keep you warm! Here's sending some sunshine your way.![]()
Kitkatblue, I, too, love your Pani against the soft neutrals.
Israel's Flava, you silk scarf is beautiful and I have to say I love the various H scarf sizes and materials.
Ladybaga, you lucky Graff owner. This is another winner on you!
VnSoie, hugs and more hugs to you. I have missed you.
Pierina, your coral scarf is so very versatile and soft. I also tried coral and pink lipsticks today - the velvet ones. None came home with me though.
Flava, what a lovely silk. Adore the beading look in the corners.
Kitkat: besides being a gorgeous shot, the knot in this GM is fabulous. Can't wait to try it. You have it tied behind your neck as the final tie, yes? LOVE IT!
pierina, honey, I worry about your lack of being able to find shawls, especially blue ones! I will keep my eyes peeled for you and a BLUE silk! Ladybaga needs one too!
That look stunning! I love the shade of blue.
