As I was ill, I missed out on the Friday theme this past week.

Good idea for the "horses" theme next week MaiTai - but I don't have a horse scarf! (I know!)

So I'll have to think of something else, thanks for the suggestions Rose!

I was addicted to Hermés in 2006, when I got my first carré. It was Les Clés in blue cw. After that I couldn´t stop buying Hermès things, and I thougt I was the only one with piles of orange boxes until I found tPF! :yahoo:
Now I have managed to take some pictures to post I this thread! This first one that I’m posting is Please, check-in with a horn ring. The knitted cashmere jacket is warm and cosy in this cold climate where I live. :smile1:

At least on the Forum, we can all understand each other's addiction to orange boxes! :heart:

Looks like I'll have to get creative for theme day! My other scarf is Eperon D'Or, with a lovely pattern of spurs...I'll need to come up with a way to show it off to its best advantage! Wish I didn't still have 20 lbs of baby weight to lose, or I'd try and wear my boots & breeches. Maybe I can pull together an equestrian look with my hunt coat and helmet at least...stay tuned!

ms piggy thank you for your comments! Yes the pale rose colourway in Voyage en Étoffe is verty pretty. I'm glad I found this carré and will use it a lot this spring.
I love your outfit in black-and-white. Wow! :tup:

MsPiggy is definitely dangerous. I was NEVER into H scarves, though I admired them on others. I wear scarves all the time, but cheapie ones that I just like the "feel" of. Then I saw MsPiggy in Legende Moghole and by the next day, I had tracked one down in that exact CW and bought it (NIB - never worn, from Craigslist of all places!) Of course NONE of the dozens of other scarves I have can hold a candle to H once you've worn it. It's a sad situation. *sigh*

Thanks for posting the full pic of Please Check In MsPiggy! I fear I am in trouble because I love it! The only thing is you can see one of those things with the off-center perferated H. That drives me nuts!

This is a dangerous forum since you will become aware of what you really need :rolleyes: For me Please, check-in is very useful in the colourway black/sepia.

Holsby--gorgeous pictures! Welcome to the scarf thread. The women here are wonderful and oh so chic. You have beautiful scarves. I love your Voyage en Etoffes. I hope to add one in a Plisse like ms piggy's (it's on the H website!!).

I think everyone should have a Please Check In. It is so versatile and all the colorways are gorgeous. The Vintage silks are so soft and easy to tie.

Hear hear Holsby I LOVE my black "Please Check In" it is the best cw of all of them and goes great with everything. It's such a clever design idea too I love it - I almost want to buy another black one as a back up!!
