Today I am wearing my TohuBohu Twilly. Since I've been so in love with Herms horn I went to the Boutique yesterday and brought me home a new horn scarf ring. I love it because it's a light colored horn piece. Something else actually came home with me but due to torrential rains, and flooding I had to re-think my wardrobe and the goodie stayed home. I hope she can debut tomorrow!

Just wanted to say... I wore my slate Beloved India scarf out last week with a horn scarf ring, and got SO MANY compliments on it. Like, literally, every single person stopped and stared and said it was so rich and beautiful, and asked me where I got it. I said it was a gift (from me, to me :p).

Hehe, I'll just post.

I actually went to the Boutique last week and put two scarves on hold. Got a call that hubby was in a car accident and had to leave (he's okay, car is totalled!). Went back with TPFer Memory Bliss intending to get "Please Check In" in 70 cm but instead came home with H En Voyage in Orange. It is a gorgeous scarf! There are two more items on hold at H for me until Friday and I am actually going to call and tell them to put Please Check In in black on hold until Friday as well.

By the way, did anyone else pick up the new scarf book as well?

I've not seen this colourway in real life - great choice! The bright shade will look stunning on you! I'm relieved to hear your hubby is safe after the car accident. Cars can be replaced, dear hubby is safe - that's the most important.

THE NEW SCARF BOOK IS OUT! ?? I want to see! Well, I'll just have to be patient!

^^^ I agree Allan! WOuld love this one in a 90. But that won't stop me from searching for a 70 of my own. I look forward to seeing it in real lilfe and all the different colourways!

Mia--It isn't the normal scarf booklet, SA said it is new this year. It has black and white photos of the 90 cm with history of the scarf, details, etc. A pic. from one of the pages is below. Thanks for the well-wishes for hubby. You are too sweet!!

Allan--This colorway is amazing. I saw the pink one too but I am partial to orange. I was so excited to wear it today with a brown suede jacket and rust top but the rain is like monsooning and out of control! I think the horn ring will be perfect with the scarf...now I have more time to play with it and figure out what know to wear with it.
Have you tried 70 cm at all?

RileyGirl - you are so sweet to post a page from the book. But I must say I am a little disappointed - no colourful photos? Bummer! Although I am very happy to read the history of the scarves, but I would like to have seen both - history and colourful photos! And this means I have to go to the store to see the colours. That's probably why they do it! They know I cannot go in to just browse!

Good call on keeping the new scarf and the brown suede jacket out of the rain and to keep them at home.

I think they're still going to do the other one--I think this is an "extra." Well, I hope so anyway!!!!

I hope so RileyGirl! I am a tradionalist with the scarf book.

But when they had the coloured photos - I always wished they would have a little explanation of the history of the art or the reason behind it. Sometimes the SA's wouldn't know the story behind the scarf print.

I guess I won't be really happy until they start handing out a big bound book with life size coloured photos! :graucho:
