Which Rolex?

I have both a green dial and a pink dial (albeit not a DJ). In my experience the pink is more neutral especially since it’s such a pale silvery shade…it could almost pass for silver in some lights. I wear a lot of black, navy, grey and other darker colours so I could technically pair either watch with my outfits but have often found the pink to be an easier choice. Including a photo I took for size comparison, in case the side by side juxtaposition helps.
Are you being offered the chance to buy either watch? If it’s a waitlist situation, I suspect the pink might be quicker to come by…the green is quite difficult to get hold of.
Gorgeous watches you have there! Thank you for showing them side by side like that. It sure does help! It’s quite surprising how much lighter the colors are in person cause tbh, I was not interested in the green till I saw it on my wrist! It is so mersmerizing and tempting lol. However, I do need to consider which of the two colors will be more neutral so it won’t clash much with my stuff. ☺️
Will this be your only Rolex? I ask because if not, there is room in your collection for a neutral dial (like the pink) & one with a pop of colour (like the green). My neutral is a TT RG with a MOP dial. Goes with everything & can be dressed up. My second Rolex is a SS turquoise OP which I LOVE to wear as a fun pop of colour, especially spring/summer. I’d get the neutral first.
I already have a 31 dj presidents in champagne dial with diamond markers. Reason why I’m choosing ss lume markers this time and easily readable dial. Turquoise dial looks fab btw, congrats! Such a fun pop of color.
I guess it all comes down to how neutral and easily the dial can be read cause I’d want to be able to wear it anytime, any event, and any outfit. 😊
It’s like gold on gold (watch).
The pink is so subtle that in some angles it could pass for a silvery metallic shade which makes it passable for a true neutral. 😊
I’m actually so shocked that it’s much lighter in person and not the green we see in pictures and videos. It is such a pretty light shade of green in almost metallic kind of way. 😍
Depends on your personal taste, style, and lifestyle! Personally I prefer the MOP dial, but it is fancier than the champagne one IMHO and feels more like a special-occasion piece vs. a daily wear for me.
Personally I only like bezel-set diamond dials like the MOP has — I do not like the prong setting on the champagne option, so that would be a bigger reason for me to choose the first one vs. the second. I also do not like the black tick marks in between the diamond indices on the champagne dial; I prefer diamonds to be the only markers for a cleaner/less busy look.
But these are all obviously just my personal preference — both are lovely options and you should go with whichever suits you and your lifestyle best! Hopefully you can try them on to compare … good luck deciding! 💙

I've said it before and I will say it again--I use my watch to tell the time. The MOP seems to be easier to read though the prong set stones seem sparklier (and I love sparkle).
