Which Rolex?

Hi guys,

I’m between those two dials. So, I just wanted to do a quick poll to see which one most people would choose, and maybe that would help me decide.

I rarely see the one with the ruby markers, and I can support a little bling, but the olive dial is such a classic.

I would get green. I am partial to a nice olive green.

But just wondering, is the watch rose gold? I feel it looks very pink-ish in the photo and I personally think that red and rose gold together are a little too warm toned for me.
I think the pink-tone of the gold goes well with the olive green. It's a nice balance.

Just my thoughts though.

Do you have any other watches? In what colors? Which ones do you reach for the most? Maybe that will help you decide.

Ask yourself if you want to be like everybody else (ie classic olive)…or just ‘do you’ (ruby)?

My eyes and heart go straight to the ruby configuration although I would not turn down the olive one either.

I might be in the minority, but I love the ruby one! (Although I’m biased and not a fan of the color green in general.)

Unless your skin tone is extreme (deep, fair or with very strong yellow undertones) once on your wrist, the rg should look a lot more subtle than these stock pics suggest.

I think the green balances the rg beautifully, but the black/ruby markers is very special and brings a little bit of Art Deco type glamour.

If you already have a few good day watches go with your
If this is one of very few, go with the one you won't want to take off
If that's pointing to the same watch - even better.

Papertiger you are so right about the Art Deco vibe! This is another reason I liked it but couldn’t identify it before your comment.
