Which Rolex?

I tend to think fluted gets scratched up less. I am also trying to decide on a rolex. I want 36mm TT but am leaning towards the jubilee bracelet for 2 reasons, I think it shows less scratches and I love the hidden clasp. I saw a lady with SS jubilee 36mm fluted white gold bezel on a silver dial with diamond markers. Absolutely stunning. But for practical reasons I want TT.
All your choices are beautiful but I like the second with fluted bezel and jubilee, but oyster is more modern. Good luck and post pictures when you decide.

Thank you for you kind words and advice. I'll be sure do a Rolex Reveal. Oh yes, I've also seen the SS jubilee Fluted white gold bezel on a silver dial with the diamond markers and you're right. I was stunning!!!WoW!!!

Unless you have a very thin wrist, go for the 36mm. Bigger watches are the style. Easier to read and much better resale. If you can pull off a 39-41mm Rolex that would be my recommendation. I see lots of stars wearing the Daytona model.

Thank you
I wear the 8" Tiffany bracelet. If that helps any. I'll try on the 39mm watch but the 41mm will be too big for me.

What jewelry do you wear on a daily basis?

I think you should consider which watch would look best with those pieces. For example, if you wear more streamlined, modern pieces then maybe the smooth bezel is the way to go. If your taste runs more toward vintage and more ornate pieces, perhaps the fluted bezel would be a better choice. The smooth bezel is a cleaner, sportier look to me and the fluted is a bit dressier. I have one of each and tend to alternate them in that way, wearing the fluted one when I'm dressing up a bit more and the smooth bezel when I'm dressing more casually.

I have some yellow Gold hoop earring that I wear everyday. All of my rings are yellow gold. and I have 925 Return to Tiffany extra large heart bracelet.

#1
This is beautiful watch.
Love diamond markers but I prefer them on a black face and without the date just feature.
This one is perfect and stunning. Classic choice that will always look right.
I disagree that you should get the very large size because that is trendy and this is a wonderful classic watch. You are going to want to wear it forever.

What is the TT?

Thank you

So sorry, it's two tone. Stainless steel and yellow gold, like your #1 and #2. And I totally agree with the part of taking your time. I had or have for now the 26mm TT and wore it nonstop for 10 years(I got it when I graduated high school) then did not wear for 10 years, and for the last 10 years I have worn on and off. I find for me the 26 too small now, the 31 still too similar to the 26mm, so process of elimination goes 36 and I love the size for me. I wore a SS cartier pasha 36mm ( maybe 34 or 36) for those 10 years I did not wear the rolex and just got very use to the size. Maybe size has something to do where you live and your frame size and what you maybe use to wearing already. Also if not for everyday maybe The 31mm is a good option for more formal occasions. Good luck with your decision.

I would just keep trying on a bunch of styles until one speaks to you. I like a bigger style myself, but ultimately it's your watch so go with the one you like the best! I tend to overthink major purchases, but if you start to feel which one you just like the best, then I think you will make the right choice! :-) it's a great dilemma isn't it! You are lucky! :-)

No Problem Thank you for all of the good information.

Thanksfor the advice.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say #3, only because that's similar to the style I have. ;)

But seriously I think it also depends on your lifestyle. If you're really casual, then I would suggest that one. I also tend to wear silver more than gold so the SS watch fit my style better. I also prefer a bigger face. I wear that watch both to work and on the weekends.

Hello All TPF,
I went to Rolex and tried on the several different watches. But I've narrowed it down to these two. My SA was nice enough to take photos for me. I like both watches and now I would really like to have one with diamonds on the dial. Decisions, Decisions. :D

Both watches are in 36mm size which I do love. The Jubilee bracelet was little more comfortable but I still really love the oyster bracelet.

I'm trying to post the photos but my photos are too big.
