It looks great on your wrist, congrats! :woohoo:

I just shook my BB gently and heard the rattling sounds as well (not the rotor noise). So I think it's normal, but if you hear differently from your AD, please let me know ;)

Hi guys

I am looking to buy a new rolex.
I can't decide between a classic DJ TT fluted bezel and oyster strap 36 or 40 mm
Or
A medium yacht master yg with white dial (platinum one is fab too)

I already own a breitling, 3 cartiers and a stainless steel DJ with pink dial.

I love how the YM sits on my wrist, and it's a clean sharp look, but is too sporty? Can you wear this watch dressed up? Is it too close in style to my breitling galactic?
The DJ is a classic style that will never date, but the Ym looks perfect on me.

Other question, I am keen to get a oyster strap, as I love the chunky links. My other rolex has a jubilee strap. However, how good does the oyst strap hold up? Does it scratch easily, will it look dull quickly? The YM has thes larger links too and would love to here how they hold up over time

Tia

Go for the yacht master. You already have a date just. The yacht master looks great dressed up too.
Oyster links hold up well. Most scratching happens on the clasp. Doesn't show as much a Cartier does.

I forgot to take pics when I was in the boutique.
They are ordering in the yg YM with the white dial, so i can decide.
Good to hear the oyster lnks hold up well. It seems people favour the jubilee but there is something opulent about the oyster IMO.

Yes, though I don't like Rolex as much as others, I agree that the oyster is much more elegant than the jubilee. However, all the WIS-heads on those watch forums seem to prefer the jubilee on a "more formal" watch like the datejust and think the oyster is a "sportier" style. I think I like the oyster because it kind of reminds me of the Cartier bracelets, which are also three link.
