Which Rolex?

I am still a bit undecided however I think I have narrowed it down to the 36mm SS BB or the SS 36mm Rolex. At the moment I think I am leaning towards the BB as I like that one the best but I know the Rolex will still be classic in 10 years. With my larger wrist (6.7in), I think I can get a way with a larger face as the smaller ones look too dinky on my hands.

Also, with a SS watch, can I still wear my gold jewellery with it or is that a big no no?

I find the crown protector bubble weird. I would probably opt for the Rolex, the automatic BB is a good fall back position. If going quartz the Roadster does have easy strap to bracelet changing mechanism so that adds some versatility.

Glad to hear another BB fan out there. I love the Rolex and like the comfort knowing that it will always be a classic but something about the BB just keeps pulling me in...=)

I like the SS BB in size 36 on you best. This watch in two tone is also pretty. I also think that watch can go both casual and dressy whereas the Rolex strikes me as a casual sporty watch. As for wearing a SS watch with yg jewelry it's something I struggle with myself but I see it done and plenty of people do it. I think if you wear a wg or platinum e-ring on the SS watch hand it's more cohesive and it's just your wg/SS arm/hand, it's concentrated in that part of your body bec. everyone wears her e-ring set and watch. Then I think it's ok to wear yg on the other wrist or yg earrings/necklace. I've seen pics of people wearing a yg Love bangle next to an all SS Cartier watch and I think it looks pretty despite my angst with mixing metals. That might be a good way of tying it all together, a slim yg bracelet next to the watch.

I like this idea. Left hand reserved for SS/WG and the right hand for my gold jewelry
