By the way, I love your current two tone 31mm Datejust! I am planning on getting the same one but in stainless steel/yellow gold with a champagne face and gold Roman numerals. I am still going back and forth on the dial/marker combo I want though. Either champagne dial with gold Roman numerals, champagne dial with white stick markers, or (maybe) a white dial with gold Roman numerals. What do you think would look best? I'm leaning towards the champagne dial with gold Romans.

Ohhhh how fun !!! I'm partial to Roman numerals so that s my vote ... You could persuade me only with diamond markers lol so I vote champagne with gold roman !! Can't wait to see it !

You all have been so EXTREMELY helpful and I have loved reading all your posts. Thanks to all of you, I have been able to do a ton of research and get a lot of great insight so it made the shopping so much enjoyable. I couldn't believe that many times, I often knew more than some of the sales people.

So I think I have finally narrowed it down to the Rolex Date Just in the 36mm size with the Jubilee bracelet (in stainless steel or two tone) or the Cartier Ballon Blue 33mm or 36mm Automatic. I also saw an Omega that I liked but I think I am leaning towards the Cartier and maybe the Rolex.

I went to a ton of stores in Chicago and I am thinking if I get a Cartier, it will be a new one but if I go for a Rolex, might grab a used one from a great store I found it Chicago that was recommended on here and seems to be quite legit and trustworthy
