Which Rolex?

Go with what looks good on your wrist, as Sammyjoe said. I love both, and day-date looks spectacular in gold. The Daytona is a grail of mine, so i am partial to it. You can't go wrong with either. Good luck!

Love them both as well, but I vote for the Daytona. I also like the white face, and it can literally be worn with everything.

Definitely the Daytona. The Day Date in YG is a bit masculine, unless you get a white face, as opposed to the gold face. GL and enjoy, both are gorgeous watches!

I was also leaning more towards the Yellow Gold Daytona,
but really haven't seen it in person as much as the Yellow Gold Day-Date.

I'm going to try both on this weekend =)

Great idea to try them on. Either would be nice.
I'd choose the day date, or possibly a daytona with a different colored dial, only because I don't like watches that have a white face.

This is a hard one....both are fabulous, classic pieces but my vote goes for the Daytona!

Lady Datejust, TT, silver diamond jubilee dial, with jubilee bracelet -- LOVE IT!! It really looks nice with platinum ring. I think it is the best combination I've seen. I like it better than the silver diamond dial.

I think Daytona would keep value better. I am torn between the 2 as well, but I prefer the Daydate with oyster bracelet - much more striking!
