You can’t go wrong with either. I think silver can be more casual and gold is dressier. If you wear more gold, then gold and if you wear more silver, then silver.
Personally, I prefer the silver hardware, but I’m also biased because that’s what I have. I also wear mixed metals.
I think Black and Silver compliment each other really well without clashing and the combo looks more neutral, goes with everything, and can be dressed up or down. I also really like the look of the puffier quilts!

simply by looking at the pictures, the flatter one looks better. also prefer gold. also agree with the flatter look suits a WOC better. i may have a different opinion if it's a classic mini or medium or jumbo.
I prefer gold hardware, with a slight puff (though that applies more to bigger bags). The flatter one does suit the woc style better.
I prefer puffy and GHW, so wait until a perfect one to come by. dont compromise at this expensive price.
