I'm probably the only one who's never got a compliment, plenty of admiring glances for my DE pieces tho. Thing is, where I live, anything monogram or that screams 'look at me, I'm expensive!' is frowned upon. People are generally into understated luxury here

Well you get a compliment here! I find people go out of their way not to compliment luxury goods sometimes. Boo on them!
