My vote is for borough.
Camel is the color I always gravitate toward. It goes with everything. The pop of yellow makes it fun, but doesn't overwhelm. The size is perfect - feels like a smaller bag but holds more.
I didn't love the style when I first saw it. Over time I saw how it made other people's outfits look good. Then I carried it around the store and learned that it went well with my body type, face, style and personality. If you can, go to a store and carry the purses around and look in the mirror. I think the borough is a bag that looks better in the context of an outfit than on its own.
This is a bag I love more as time goes on.
Okay. Let me express this again. I don't know how anyone else can tell you what you like. For instance, and I am going to say something sacrilegious here, I can't stand the jacquard initial bags. There, I said it. But, millions certainly love them. I think our "suggestions' are meaningless.
I agree to some extent, however I have found that when I post an item for tpfers to comment on, it helps me make a decision whether they support it or not. If I really want the item, I will get it even if most people are against it. If I don't want the item, I won't get it just because tpfers like it. Otherwise I would have mabs, bals, more diamonds, some LVs and CLs.
Asking for people's opinions helps me with the decision process. It makes me think longer and harder, take more time with it, see different perspectives, visualize how much I would use it, see what other people really think of the bag, which is important to know, but is not a reason to buy the bag. I end up making better decisions after I have solicited opinions, even though I don't always go with the popular decision.
Another reason to ask for opinions is if you are trying to break out of your style rut. For example, if you don't normally buy pink bags, a good tpf discussion can help you decide if that would be a good move.
A good night's sleep helps the process too.
