White is geogeous, but I'm one of those peeps that attracts stains when I wear white. Never fails ketchup, mustard, ink! I'll look for a darker bag.

Classic in my opinion is a bag with room for daily things and a zipper on the top. So the colour is what you prefer. A classic black or brown natural. Selma is a Handbag but with a shoulder strap to have the hands free. And a zipper on the top. So I think, that is a classic bag. Chic and casual. Or the jet set item tote...I have classic bags and pop of colour;)

Yes it has to have zip top and straps for me too. Love the mk zippers but not the thin staps

In the usa the bags are around $200 on ebay. You can get a used one for $150. I dont know about the uk. Be careful buying on ebay. Do your research about fakes vs real ones before you buy. Good luck in your search for a hamilton.

I think USA should be cheaper than Uk, since the Origin of Mk's designer is from USA. and Amazone is the trusted online, never worried of the authenticity

I think also Selma and Sutton in a neutral colour like all kind of beige/ creme/ brown colours, white, black maybe also gold /silver as those colour fits to all clothes or a Jet Set Tote but without a MK monogram print( the one which looks like the LV Totally) .

Since I know MK I´ve seen always those models in different colours and they are always in store / or coming back in new colours ..
I think those MK bags which doesn´t have the monogram MK print look more timeless and elegant and are very good for work and private life..

I think maybe the MK Ava can become also timeless as it looks like a great bag and this style is now very popular. I see this style often...

Thank you for the input. The Ava is very classy in any color. You're right! The basic neutral colors always returns every season. Funny that LV monogram bags are so desirable and classy but MK monograms are not considered classy! I too shy away from the monogram bags. At first when I was into mks I had to have the brown or the vanilla one. Now I don't use them!

it was the same with me.. My first one was also a vanilla monogram. I sold it after 2 months..Now I just like the saffiano bags. I think this is the best leather.. I don´t have any wear and tear - not even colour transfer.. Nothing can happen to this material.. i love that...
