I know this sounds crazy, but I regret buying the Alma vernis pm in Amarante. I regret the color and really wish I had gotten a lighter color like dune or vert impression (wish they would release a similar color). I also wish they had already sold them with the loop for a crossbody strap like they do now.

Why do you regret the choice of Amarante instead of Dune? i.e. Why do you prefer a light bag? Am really curious since I will probably buy a Alma PM in vernis and am deciding between amarante and dune...

I feel like lighter colors really flatter the vernis leather and freshen up the Alma. When I bought my bag in summer 2012 I had been hoping to find a pale yellow or beige (dune) but they didn't have these, I think they only had Amarante and some sort of white. I was madly in love with the Alma at the time and was traveling, so I went with the Amarante since we didn't have an lv boutique in my country and I wasn't going to travel till the following summer.

I think it all comes down to personal preference. My sister loves my Amarante cause it such a classic lv color and has borrowed it several times. As for me, I don't know if it's just because it wasn't my original preference or what but I still get pangs whenever I see a light alma and occasionally wish my bag was a different color. I just find Amarante a little too stiff and old and not as fresh as the other colors (even the brighter colors like pomme d'amour). At least I don't have to worry about color transfer. I would say follow your heart and your own preference.

I returned the Bloomsbury PM DE for this very reason. The strap kept hurting my collar bone when I walked because it was so stiff and hard. The SA told me it would soften up with time but I was skeptical it would. Shame it looked great.
Just looking at your collection could I ask if the speedy b 25 de strap does the same thing? I have a Bloomsbury and worry it might not be great in the summer for this reason. Thanks.

For me I love the amarante color (have ZCP in amarante) but I prefer Alma PM in Dune (or mordor would be even better). I don't have any light colored bag so I thought I should go for the amarante even though I love the Dune/mordor more. So I guess this is kind of similar to your situation and I probably should get the Alma in a light color after all. Don't think color transfer is so common for dresses..and I will porbably only use it for evenings/parties/nights.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts :)

Sold my mini pochette in DE. Couldn't figure out what to do with it. Expensive pouch to hold Chapstick and tic tacs seemed silly. Coach makes the exact same thing for $95 in leather so if I feel I really need it, that's always an option.

Same here. I bought the mini pochette in DE. Very cute bag but simply useless for me. I even tried wearing it as a crossbody. It just didn't hold enough. I ended up selling it.

Believe it or not, pochette Metis (which is so popular on the forum these days). Don't like it at all and have been to lazy to sell it. This reminds me I need to get it sold in order to feel better about my recent over-spending.

Why don't you like it? I've always loved this it but I'm worried now as there seems to be so many issues with it. I wish I bought the original version when I had the chance!

Well. So I bought the xs mordore Mahina, but I really wanted xl, solo then I found xxl in noir and bought and now fould xl in mordore and bought. All in one week! So I regret finding tradesy and yoogiscloset and my eBay app. But alas I can return xxl and xs and just keep xl and all will be ok I hope or I'm selling a lot of Mahina!

Hi there! I've been wanting this bag but not too sure because from what I remember it seemed pretty boxy/bulky on me and didn't hug my body like I would like in a crossbody. I'd love to hear why it didn't work for you? ! Thanks :)

The jewelry roll. It just can't hold more than a few pieces without it becoming impossible to roll back up or messing up the pieces. I returned it and got this beauty instead... the Monte Carlo! I love how it's designed to fit in a hotel safe and has so much space for every kind of jewelry without tearing it up!

I tried it as well but it's just awkward as a crossbody IMO. I thought the Alma/BB would be worse, but it's actually way more well suited to me than the Metis. I've never worn crossbody bags but have bought several recently and am really enjoying how easy-to-use and convenient they are. Freeing up my arms, hands and shoulders, I'm discovering, is amazing!

Oh, and the nano Noé. Sorry but the thing is just useless unless you're a little kid. It won't even hold a wallet! My car keyfob with its luggage tag key holder, card case and tube of lip balm filled it up and it looked silly on me, it's so tiny. Fortunately it was a gift and i got to exchange it with the giver never knowing :)

You're right, I just didn't like the way it fit me. Too funny, i just recently started using crossbody bags as well! I was always using top handle or shoulder. I purchased a Twinset/twice in Empreinte and I LOVE it! Soooo, I also bought a gucci soho flap chain crossbody which looks so nice and elegant! And then 2 casual MK crossbody bag that are worry free. :) Thanks for responding!

Not a regret really, but my LV priscilla bag in MG multi colour white. I like it just not a practical design. The handle I am not fussed on but I am tempted to buy a strap and turn it in to a cross body style bag. Not sure yet as I am trying to get rid of it too but I don't think I'll make the money back, plus I need to find the date code.

1. saumur 30 vintage. its divided into your sides, and just too fussy and restrictive. i prefer one whole compartment.

2. speedy b 30. hardware tarnished, and i dont like how bulky it looked on my frame (im bulky enough haha). zip top closure too small.

3. Neverfull GM in mono. I didnt know how to care for the vachetta and it turned dry and dirty. GM is too big for daily use.

4. favourite mm in DE. long strap too short. prefer a zip top closure so bought an eva instead which i love

sold all these for loss...
