Pre-loved classic Speedy. Speedy B works much better for me. So does a new bag, without a pre-loved smell!

I know what you mean. I usually don't mind pre-loved. I purchased a pre-loved Artsy off eBay in January and I could not get over the smell (did not smell bad but it smelled USED). I had to return it. Luckily, the seller took it back but it cost me an arm and a leg in return shipping :(

Lesson learned. I think I will wait a little longer and purchase new.

I was worried about scratching the plate too, so I didn't use my eva a lot when I first got it. But then I read somewhere on this forum that people use phone protectors to protect the plate. I tried this and it seems to work very well. I enjoy this bag a lot now. It's a great size for occasions when you don't want to carry a lot of stuff with you, the size of the strap is just right for me to wear it cross body and it's a very versatile purse. I wear it as a clutch for dressy occasions and with the cross body strap for everyday use.

Oo that's a good idea. I'll try it next time when I get a bag with the plate. Thanks! :)

:sad:My mono delightful mm....I try to like it but don't like the slouchyness of it and feel it's too big. I go back and forth about keeping it since they no longer make the older model.,,I think it's a gorgeous bag and looks great when I see mod shots but I just don't ever use it and can't seem to make it work...

It's funny that you should say that. I was looking at my collection this week and thinking if I should sell my delightful( old model) because I don't reach for it anymore. I don't know what it is but given that my last 3 bags purchased are structured ( retiro, mews, and Montaigne bb) I might have outgrown it? Not too sure :shrugs:

Artsy - Very uncomfortable to carry.
Tivoli - Too heavy
Citadine - Too small
Bagatelle - Too small and kind of heavy with all my stuff loaded in it. Also, I do not like dividers inside my bags.
Sully MM - Too difficult to find my stuff in.
Brea - Too boxy
+1 about the Artsy, it's such a beautiful bag.. and to me that's all it is. My mother gladly accepted it when I gave it to her though, now I'm a crossbody kinda lady [emoji4]

Mini pochette. Just too small to be useful, IMO. :shucks:

Wow. So many regrets in mini pochette. It is actually my favorite and most useful piece. I don't use it as a stand alone purse but as an accessory pouch. I store bandaids, neosporne, hair ties, any loose item that can fall all over inside my purses. It's my most favorite to use with my nano speedy since nano is so tiny and has no compartment.

Thanks for sharing. Definitely will try this.

I regret my galliera mono pm. I never thought I would be so stressed out about the vachetta! It gets dirty so fast, and I always have to make sure that my hands are clean etc. This was my first mono bag and probably my last even though I really love certain mono bags, but I will not buy them only because of that stupid vachetta!!

I am the same way. Bought my first mono bandouliere 25. I am very careful so thought I can handle the challenge. Then I notice the constant upkeep when it rain or snow and Missouri weather doesn't get any better. No matter how careful I tried, I still have water spot on the vachetta. I realize how much I hated it when I had to pretreat the bag before use. The tedious step and upkeep. I do own a metis that had little vachetta on. That will probably be my only bag with vachetta.

You make me feel so much better to know that I am not the only one that "regrets" several of my bag purchases. But fortunately more that I  than regret!
Alma PM- too rigid
Speedy B 30- felt like luggage
Speedy B 25- Better, but opening was too small
Berkely DE- too large for me, also didin't like the brass plate
Speedy 40- too large for a bag, so I got the keepall B 45 for luggage-Ha!
Musette tango- Short strap
I had 4 neverfulls and then realized I just don't care for totes- I loved the idea of a tote and the neverfull is so popular. Finally decided to let go of the idea.
I have had several other regrets too, but in the end they are just bags, so I just sell them. Live and learn...
I only LOVE my Retiro pm old model. Perfect for my needs. I also love my Montaigne in empreinte, but that seems a bit more formal, not for every day.
I have bought and sold soooo many bags, but that's how you figure out what is best for you. No need to keep a bag that you don't really love, right? And that means more funding for one you do love. :graucho:

I think it's that same thing with me..I like structured bags much more and the delightful is slouchy and I guess I don't like that. I love my retiro too , I use it quite a bit....I feel like I should like it because it's such a popular bag but I really never reach to use it either....I just need to make sure I don't regret it if I decide to sell it....

Delightful PM - I love it but open top bags just worry me too much. Every time I use it, my slgs are either strapped to the d ring or in the pocket :(

Speedy b 25 - This was a quick realization for me. I returned it within 2 hours after purchase. I could not deal with the bottom slouch. To me, it was more of a handheld bag than crossbody. It just did not look right on me.

idk if this counts as a regret, as im usually super picky with what i choose. But I had gotten the zippy wallet as a gift years ago and just last month finally decided to purchase a smaller wallet as i didn't need the room. I was going to hold onto it for nostalgia but i think i would have regretted it so i decided to just sell it instead, it was just re-homed last week! Im not one for keeping pieces in the drawer and not use them lol . but I had it for almost 7.5years so while it was well used it remained in my bag as a main wallet so it was still in great condition.

The great thing about LV, you will always be able to sell it if its something you are not using as its always in demand so i don't feel bad buying lol :)
