I agree! I just purchased it a few weeks ago, I love the size of the bag but the opening is too small. I knew what I was getting myself into when purchasing, but I also own the 35 and 30, love them both but I needed a smaller bag. The 25 is the perfect size for me, I just wish the opening was as wide as the Empreinte speedy.

i completely agree with you! i love everything about my speedy b 25 except the opening

I only have one bag and one SLG but I love them both :) I had been looking at the totally for 2 years before I bought it and it is literally the perfect bag for me! Good size, good shape, zip, comfortable straps, strap drop is the perfect length. The wallet is the DA Elise wallet (discontinued now). It was a present for my 22nd bday and was an impulse purchase but I love it! It is my perfect wallet size and holds coins, notes and cards. The only small gripe is the DA is light so some colour has rubbed off onto it, but after 4 years it is still looking beautiful! Hopefully no regrets for any future bags/SLGs :)

I wonder how you ladies use your mini pochette? I went to Mykonos last year and bought a limited edition pochette. I was in a hurry and wanted a souvenir so I just grab and go. Love the look...but it's so small! Can't even fit my Samsung Note 5. Doesn't make sense if I need to carry 2 wristlet for errands, one for phone and the LV for others. .... so it's now at the bottom of my drawer 😧

I had the same dilemma when I first got it but now I reach for it all the time!

When I am wearing smaller bags I use it as a mini makeup kit and let me tell you that it holds a lot more than it seems. In bigger bags, I have used it to hold chargers and battery pack or a little first aid kit when I travel.

HTH!

Do you have a Samsung S5 or Note? My S5 fits in my DA mini pochette without a case. Shared a photo of it in another thread:

Thanks for your tips. I wanted it as a "quick errands" pouch, but didn't realise couldn't fit my phone in. Guess I'll use it for travel like you suggested. Thanks.

Not sure if I have already contributed to this thread but here goes - I regret purchasing the Eva. The strap is too long for me (I am short: 5 ft 1 inch) and the interior capacity is too small to be useful (it barely fits my large phone and a cles). For a small cross body I much prefer a Coach bag I bought recently (it has 2 pouches - non removable - each of which has a separate zip. It also has an adjustable strap. But I digress....)

I love my Eva! It's a small purse, so I do only use it when I only need the essentials. But it can carry my full size Sarah wallet (old model), my iPhone, a lip balm and some paper handkerchiefs without a problem. If I'd use my zippy coin purse, it can fit even a lot more stuff. IMO, that's nice for this kind of clutch.

For me, the strap is just right. I have an Eva in DE and a Favorite in DA. The strap of the Favorite is a bit too short for me, so I ordered the vachetta strap of the Eva through repair (was reasonably priced, a lot less than the straps sold on the LV website). Maybe you could order the strap of the Favorite for your Eva?

I love all of my Louis Vuitton pieces but I did regret getting the Favorite MM in DA. It was too short for my frame. I love the bag but it was not for me. I deeply regret not getting the Galliara GM before it was discontinued. That was the first LV bag I fell in love with.

My regrets are:
  • Vernis Wilshire - It was too small and high maintenance. Plus, it was a blue color that I felt was awkward to coordinate my outfits with. Ended up selling it.
  • DE Neverfull MM - Mine has worn so terribly. I wish I had just waited and got the epi version instead.
  • Monogram Speedy 30 - I kind of regret this one. It is such a classic gorgeous bag and it was my first LV bag, but I wish they had the Speedy B when I got it because having the shoulder option would have made it more practical. I also don't like the attention it sometimes draws when we are out in public or with my husband's family. It has a lot of sentimental value so I don't ever see myself parting with it, but I only carry it a couple of times a year.
  • Monogram ZCP - I wish I got an epi ZCP or card holder instead because I prefer leather over canvas.
  • Monogram Cles - This was my first LV SLG, but I find that I really have no use for it anymore so it just acts like an expensive keychain.

Looking over this, I'm realizing that the majority of the regrets I have are purchases made when I was younger and that, apart from my monogram key holder, I should probably step away from the canvas because I prefer leather for myself (although I love the look of the canvas prints on other people).

I regret purchasing the Neverful GM in de. I loved, love, loved it on other people. I have literally carried it only 2x and it has been sitting in my closet in its dust bag ever since. I just couldn't hand the straps, they are so uncomfortable for me. I have been so busy, I've just never made time to sell it.

Also I love my mom mono speedy b 40, but I have a mono speedy b 40 and should have gotten it in the 35 so I had some variety. At the time, I loved the bigger bag, but now, the bigger it is the more I put in it and the heavier it gets.

Same, I hated the straps so I returned mine.
