As for the bag I carry the least, definitely the DE neverfull GM. It was a gift from my boss before I opened my own business, and very kind of him, but he got the other girl in our office the MM and I wish he had done the same with me because I only use the GM as a beach bag.. it's just so big!

Im not sure if I regret my damier ebene favourite pm...its cute and small and great for an evening out, however, I'm worried about scratching the pretty metal plate at the front!:confused1:

Kind of regretted my damier azur totally PM since I brought it when the damier ebene pattern hadn't come out yet for the totally and I do prefer the damier ebene since its not as easy to get dirty than the azur...plus..im the sort of person who always gets light bags dirty! :nogood: I do love the practicality of the bag though....however im not using it much since im worried about the darkening vachetta leather! -_- I think I should stay away from azur bags in the future since its not practical for me when I feel I have to baby it all the time.......

About your favorite, take a phone screen protector sheet and cut it down to cover the plate. I did this with my Eva DE brass plate. It stays on really well and no scratches, worry free use.

My Brea GM in Epi Black (Or Noir whatever). I love everything about it, but the fact that I was able to get my hands on a black jumbo caviar from chanel (my holy grail) I don't feel a need for my Brea. I do plan to sell her but I'd rather wait for after the price increase.

Speedy B 30

I opted for the B version because there is no way I can carry a bag just by those handles and I got caught up in the whole "iconic" bag idea so thought I'd add it to my collection. But I find the zip opening awkward when trying to get things in and out, the bag is a pit with everything sinking into the bottom and you can't really see whats in there. And that little pockets is pretty much useless. My opinion only because I know a lot of people love that bag but I haven't carried mine in close to a year.

Hi !! I have been thinking about getting the speedy b . Can you tell me what is awkward about the zip opening ? I dont want to make a mistake by purchasing this one . TIA :)

Hi momof3boyz - because the zipper doesn't extend over the ends of the bag (like the empreinte leather version) I just find it hard to get things in and out of the opening. I've read some others having the same issue but it depends on what size speedy. Some with the 35 say its easier because the opening is larger. Probably the bigger issue ss because of the size of the opening I find it hard to see down inside of the bag. I tend to like bags more like the NF where you have a nice wide opening.

For me it ended up being my Monogram LV laptop case.

It was gorgeous, so well made and sturdy. Silly me, I bought it 2 inches too big, then rationalized it by saying I would just buy a bigger macbook.

Then it just sat there....

Finally sold it yesterday (at a loss), hopefully it will go to someone who will use it!

Also sold my Monogram Pochette (Just too plain for me now) and DE mini pochette. I bough the xmas edition, so it felt weird to have two almost identical bags.

These are the first LV items I have sold, previously I had given the items away to family.

This can be a problem with the Speedy's but I handle that by making sure that I don't carry an excessive amount in my bag (easy for me) and the fact that my wallet has a very distinctive feel and bright color so it's easy to find and grab quickly.
My makeup bag is a soft squishy one with a tassel on the zipper pull (not LV) and it's easily felt and found as well.
My iPhone is simple to find, it goes inside the pocket. My keys are attached to a cute zippered card holder that flops over the outside of my bag so their super easy to find at all times.
Actually if I had all LV SLG's I could see myself having a big problem finding things in there unless they were all different patterns....:laugh:

+1...did the same thing. I actually did a lot of research on you tube before purchasing my neverfull gm and everyone had raving reviews...all these women couldn't be wrong, right? I tried to love it...but hated how the straps kept hurting my shoulders and would leave red marks on my skin for days even if it wasn't full. I also hated bumping into everything while wearing it no matter if it was cinched or not. Sold it on the bay and lost $150. C'est la vie 😁

I can see why so many here regret the Never full GM.I don't really think it was originally designed to be a daily handbag- I now think of it like hand luggage. I use mine when I need to bring a change of clothes for when I'm going somewhere right before or after work, which is about 2 to 3 times per week. I also find it useful for taking items to a rehearsal. I don't really carry it on my shoulder- I remember when I first tried carrying it like a handbag and how hard that strap digs in!

As for cinching it, I like how it looks but rarely do that because I'm worried that it could damage the canvas over the long run.

Hmm interesting topic. I will slowly read each post from the start as I'm in the middle of buying more LV. It's good to know what works or doesn't work for some people. I'm happy with all my LV But I will consider selling my Speedy DE 30 to get bigger size 35. It will be more suitable as my traveling back. Considering to sell Saumur 30 if I can find discontinued 35 size. But only if I can find Saumur 35, because I really like the design.
