Which looks better on me: Carnelian, blue agate, or onyx?

Thank you all for the comments!

I don't have a much of a collection but I do think that I will get the most wear out of the blue agate. Even though the color stands out, you guys are convincing me that it can still be neutral.

I keep thinking about the carnelian but I'll just wear the pendant to satisfy that itch, for now.

Interesting comment on the weight! I've noticed that onyx does feel heavier. And with heavy necklaces, I always feel an unpleasant pressure on the left and right sides of my neck. Onyx is such a VCA staple though!

On your skin, I think carnelian looks best and is most flattering. Has some pop but also super elegant and sophisticated.

The Blue agate pops most, and I favor that color more because of the color itself, without relation to how it looks on you.

Onyx is the least exciting but maybe most subtle yet elegant.

unpopular opinion- i think BA is nice for the person who already has a staple collection. i only own black, red, or brown bags. each time i have purchased a "pop of color" bag, i regretted it and never wore it. you must love BA so much to think of it as a classic staple, otherwise it will wind up being an expensive seasonal necklace you will force yourself to wear. i say go with carnelian or onyx. the carnelian is neutral but interesting. the onyx is a staple.

*i love malachite, for example, and think of it as a neutral because it reminds me of classic Renaissance jewels. i love it in dark tones especially. carnelian has that same effect on me.

I’m all about colors so we’re definitely on opposite ends of the spectrum here, but just something to think about – the blue agate will go fabulous if someone wears jeans frequently
